Product description
The TSE Pro Pocket Knee Savers are a high quality EVA insert that are designed to be used with double knee work pants such as Dickies and Carhartt brand work pants. When rolled up and then inserted in between the layers of fabric they relax to original shape and create knee pad that is always in place. They can be left in pants during wash and dry cycles-dry on low temperature.

- Reviewed in Canada on August 5, 2021Verified PurchaseWas looking for knee pads for my unlined carhartt womens overalls, and was surprised at the price of them in retail stores. I didn't want to pay a lot for my first time buying knee pad inserts (incase I didn't like using them at work).
These were a very great price for two, and I fit them into my carhartts. I just had to fold and wiggle them back and forth to get them in. Probably wouldn't be able to get them out without a struggle though.
They've also been through the washer and dryer multiple times inside my coveralls and held up well and no issues.
I'm glad I didn't buy expensive ones and will be buying these for my winter overalls.

- Reviewed in Canada on March 3, 2022Verified PurchaseEdit: they lose a star for going from $15 to $40
I'm an electrician and wear these in my Carhartt pants. Over the years, I've tried many kneepad inserts and none of them compare to these. Other ones thin over time, are too soft, and quickly wear holes in Carhartts. I've had these for 6 months now and they are just as comfortable as the day I got them, and my pants show very little wear. They are also easily the most comfortable that I've tried. I'll be sticking to these from now on.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK, but very small
Verified PurchaseThey do protect against hard floors when kneeling and, unlike the carpet underlay I've been using in my Carhartt knee pockets for a while (true story), I'm happy to wash and dry them. But they're comedically small: half the height of the knee pockets, and about two thirds the width. So they don't really feel like they're reliably positioned.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still good as new after 1.5 years use on construction sites.
Verified PurchaseI bought 5 pair of carharts and 5 pair of these pads to put in them. Not a one has split, flattened, or failed in any way. They are thick, comfortable and have save my knees alot of damage. Skip the high priced alternatives, these are the ones you want.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good inserts but stiff
Verified PurchaseExcellent for the 5.11 pants that i personally love to wear, wanted some inserts and came across these and decided to give them a go. Firstly they do their job and after using them you barely notice them and excellent comfort. Only downside they are stiff and not very breathable causing my knee areas to feel sweaty. It may be the pants i use and the thickness as well but breathability would help a lot. They fit perfectly inside the double knee used by my 5.11 pants and the different styles of 5.11 pants i have. Like i mentioned earlier they are stiff as a board and you can see it they may need some time to break in or something but aside from that they work excellent as knee inserts for 5.11 pants!

5.0 out of 5 stars They Don't Suck
Verified PurchaseI couldn't pass up trying these knee pads out for the price.
Pros: Inexpensive for the quality you get. The quality is almost on par with a pair of Timberland Pros I use that cost three times as much. Close to the same density in both sets. TP's are slightly denser.
Cons: My only gripe is that unlike the Timberland Pros these are not molded or cut to conform with the shape of your knee. This is most noticeable when standing or walking. Once you're kneeling they conform just fine. I did not feel them bind or shift at all, and was able to remain kneeling for long periods with these inserted.
I may trim the top corners just to make them sit in the pocket a little nicer. All in all. Well worth the price, and I would buy them again.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good value for functionality; stiff compared to other alternatives
Verified PurchaseI have two pairs of the more expensive official knee pad inserts for my double front work pants which I swear by. These provide great value for money as they are a 3rd of the cost however noticeably more stiff / less comfortable especially if you are driving long distances to job sites.
