- Reviewed in Canada on November 3, 2024Verified PurchaseThis stuff is great for filling around windows, stairs etc. I live in an old farm house and took care of a lot of drafts with this!
- Reviewed in Canada on March 3, 2025Verified PurchaseEasy to use. Had an outdoor electrical receptacle that needed to be waterproofed and this product did the trick
- Reviewed in Canada on March 27, 2025Verified PurchaseNothing really special. Does the job. There are other ways to seal cracks. I'm not sure if this is a top 5 way to seal cracks.
- Reviewed in Canada on November 10, 2024Verified PurchaseCould not get it appart without it breaking in tiny pieces. Was all glued together. Had to send back.

- Reviewed in Canada on August 30, 2024Verified PurchaseIf you have a need for this product, buy new windows- this is a poor product and is a poor bandage solution- lots of black mold builds up which is very bad for your health.

5.0 out of 5 stars Paid for itself already
Verified PurchaseI have an old house with very warped windows. Should I replace them? Yeah, but I'm not made of money -- I'll get to it eventually, but not this winter. I knew I had to do something though, because I had a $300 electric bill the other month. Some of my windows have drafts so bad I can see daylight through the gaps, and I shoved towels in between them to keep them from rattling in the wind.
So I bought this stuff and let me tell you -- I only put some rope caulk in a few of the worst spots on two of our worst windows, and there was an immediate difference. My heater didn't stay on as long, my bill already came in $30 lower. In other words, this stuff has already paid for itself, and I haven't even gotten to most of my windows yet.
I'm a very average-intelligence woman who was wrestling a toddler the entire time I put this stuff on my windows. Did I do a good job? Not really, it's kind of ugly looking and I'm sure you could do better than me. But for the amount of money it's already saving me and how easy it was to use, it could have buck teeth and a unibrow for all I care.
I'll replace these windows eventually, when I get the money for it. But if you're like me and you just need to get through winter without your heat leaking straight out of your windows, this stuff will probably pay for itself.

4.0 out of 5 stars Microwave and scissors
Verified PurchaseUSED This is clay. Very time consuming to apply. To make your life easier, microwave the product warm. Peel about 1 ft. Peice ,then cut with scissors.
That's the best advice. I used it to block out sunlight , between window frame and blackout plastic sheet over glass.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for bigger gaps
Verified PurchaseWe just bought a new house and we are in the middle of weatherproofing it. This finger caulk is just a trick for areas where you don't feel like using regular c a u l k. You can pull out just a thin strip for smaller voids, or you can use the strips side by side to make a piece that will seal a whole up to about 2 in. You can also put more together for bigger areas. Some areas may look better with c a u l k, but for hidden areas this stuff really fits the bill

5.0 out of 5 stars This works very well!
Verified PurchaseIt sticks to most surfaces although it may need a good bit of pressure and it’s helpful if you can push it into a gap or crack, it stays put better that way. You can peel it off as wide or narrow as the lines allow, and I’ve never noticed any residue left behind. I will be buying again next year.
