TERRO liquid ant bait bonus pack is best used for attracting and killing all common household ants including argentine ants, ghost ants, cornfield ants, pavement ants, acrobat ants, white footed ants, little black ants, odorous house ants and other sweet-eating ants. For indoor and outdoor protection, the bonus pack includes 6 indoor bait stations as well as a bonus outdoor liquid ant bait stake. To attract and kill ants, simply place the pre-filled, ready-to-use liquid ant bait in areas where ants are observed. Ants typically follow defined trails from the nest to food or water. Placing the outdoor stake close to these trails will improve control. This product is specifically formulated to allow worker ants to consume the product and survive long enough to carry the liquid back to the nest and deliver a dose to the rest of the colony. This is the only way to get rid of the ants you see and the ants you don't see.

This product took care of an entire colony of ants in one day. Very impressive. The key is to follow the instructions very closely. Set out 2-3 traps to begin and try to place them in areas where the ants have found food before, otherwise they tend to ignore the trap and just walk around it. Once some initial ants find the trap, it’s very important not to disturb them in any way. This may be counter-intuitive but you must let them go about their business and get back to their nest or it won’t work. This is not only because they need to bring the poison back but also because they need to communicate with the other ants as to where to find the food. Ants are remarkable in that they can communicate an entire path to each other, even a very long way. Do not disturb this communication even if it means the number of ants triples or more in the beginning and your spouse is yelling at you! If you do this the ants will be gone fast. Super smart product.

Within 5 mins of me placing the traps appear it was being swarmed by the little beggars. I’ll edit the review in a few days to update its effectiveness. UPDATE JUL 24 2024: Does not come with the free stake seen here on the packaging. I have change to 1 star for false advertising. I have bought this 3 times in total over 1-2 years.

Product works but the container is poorly designed. The trap needs to have a ramp or something to let them in; I am using a tootpick coated in the liquid as a makeshift bridge. The opening of the trap doesn't make contact with the ground so the ants don't ever get inside so it always feels like a waste. It is also much better if you spill a bit of it on a piece of card stock/junk mail to lure them initially to the trap; you must be absolutely sure the ants come near it within a few centimetres or it won't work at all. I set two traps near eachother, spaced about 60 inches apart and one of them has ZERO ants because I didn''t spill a few drops like I did with the other one. I placed two outside my window closer to the nest and same result: zero ants!

This product does work very well used many times. I bought this pack for the bonus bait stake but they just sent me the 6 pack baits. Very disappointed. So I ended up spending $15 were the regular 6 pack liquid bait pack is only $9. What a rip off. Do not buy the bonus pack!

Works with Pharao ants, it takes about 3 weeks to kill a colony.

I contacted exterminator's "here in canada", they were all
charging 400$-700$, to do what ?, come to my residence and place
ant baits.

Well i took a chance , and tried this, and it works, the pharao ants went
into a feeding frenzy for a couple of days, then went away
and came back for another round 4-5 days later, after a 3rd and final
feeding frenzy, i could see they were much less ants.

Its been 4 weeks and this colony seem to be completely dead.

Here's the best tricks, to get rid of pharao ants at least.

Dont disturb them with chemicals or anything else,
otherwise you will just make things much worsts.

Follow them and see were they disappear in a crack or hole somewhere.
Place a bait about 8-10 inches away from the whole,
so you can observe them carefully.

What i did to attract them rapidly to the bait, i poured a couple of drops next to the bait feeder,
they went for it within 2 days.

If you have kids or pets, be careful, where you place and use these things.
Specially pets, they will be attracted to the bait and lick it because its very sweet,
and its enough to be harmful to them.
