I got this to take my webcam off my monitors, and it's working well so far. I question whether the ball adjustment and stuff at the top would long-term handle a heavy camera, or even be able to tolerate it well, but for something light -- I see no issues.
The stand is quite nice, but it's more of a nice yet cheap design and feel. It really feels like a 75% product. While it's not high-end heavy duty, it's better than the cheap camera-stand-type selfie sticks. Even those in the same price range. I've bought and tossed at least two of those -- this is noticeably better.
I'm not sure if this was a fluke, and if not, is a concern: a piece of the stand was not inside the box with the rest of the stand when it arrived. It was packaged and attached to the box, but it almost looked like there wasn't enough room in the box for all of the pieces so it was attached separately. Not 鶹 box, rather the product itself was in 1 box plus 1 attached baggie with a single part.
I've bought much worse for the same cost and it does what I need, so it's not a bad option at around $30 or less.
