Pretty handy paint gun. Cut the time down quite a bit compared to a brush.
I ordered this paint gun to do some log repair work on a old log cabin. I hate painting logs by hand because you have so many little nooks and crannies to get in with the brush. It takes long, Trashes the brush and is monotonous. So I was excited to give this a try and see how it does. It does great! The gun takes Dewalt batteries. I have a bunch because I own a few dewalt tools. The bigger the battery the longer you will get with this sprayer. I used my 5ah batteries and was able to get 2 coats on a entire section of log wall around 3 feet by 22 feet long on one battery . With a bit of juice left over. My 2ah batteries were just not strong enough to get a good even flow though. So i would recommend 4ah and above for this. Especially for bigger job. The spry gun comes with some paint strainers . 4 different tips for different types of spray. A syphon for pouring. A big can to put the paint that can fit around a half gallon. Give or take. Assembly is easy. Clean up is what takes the time. For clean up putting water in the gun and spraying it out clean can help quite a bit after every use. it helps stop any clogs within the gun. Avoid using methyl hydrate or alcohol based cleaners because they can eat away at the rubber seals and housing . Just straight water. a cloth and rag i best. The gun seems pretty feature rich. You can adjust the speed of the spray. You can fill the gun from a top lath or by unscrewing the container. I found it a bit cleaner to just unscrew the bucket and pour the paint in but the top fill option can be good as well. The trigger has a screw on the back to set and adjust the flow. The further you pull the trigger back the more paint will shoot out. So this is a good feature. You can take the tip off and replace it with the included ones. It Helps for cleanup to completely remove the tips and clean them separately. The handle has a lock . The led is on top of the gun. A nice touch for painting in the shadows and under decks where the light is not best. You simply flip up the led and it turns on. I was pretty impressed with it. The cordless aspect is great. It works way better then the old plug in blue ones. You can buy replacement nozzles which is a must. If you have a set of Dewalt batteries , I would say you will love this gun for home repairs and the odd paint job. Works great for log cabin repair. Picket fences. Shingles on walls. It takes some practice to get the right distance and angles but it is pretty easy to get the hang of. 2 bigger batteries is a must for bigger jobs. As well as a fast charger. I like it. I can recommend it. Thanks.

It spays consistent as long as you run a thin set up.
Would recommend it comes with a stand and a hook in the future.
Stand to refill paint and hook to keep sprayer on me and not the ground.
Clean up is easy it honestly takes just as long as then job sometimes.
