Every 25 Plus series NAS runs the latest version of Synology DSM, delivering seamless file storage, sharing, device backup and multimedia management. Standard features include fast setup, system-wide search and remote access on all models, from compact 2-bay units to scalable 18-bay systems with raw capacities ranging from 40 TB to 360 TB.
Flexible management and expansion
Even compact models like the DS225+ support sizable volumes for home or office and can scale seamlessly into a hybrid cloud. Larger units such as the DS1825+ add ECC RAM, NVMe SSD caching and support for high-end upgrades, while all models include essentials like dual USB-A ports, hot-swappable drives and tool-less trays.
Improved networking across the board
Every 25 Plus series system includes at least one 2.5GbE port, providing faster transfers than previous generations. Five- and eight-bay models feature dual 2.5GbE, SMB3 Multichannel and PCIe slots for 10/25GbE adapters, eliminating gigabit bottlenecks across the range.
