An upgraded Swiffer cleaning experience!
I received this Swifter Deluxe Sweep+Mop and was able to compare it to my original Swiffer. The Swiffer broom pole is absolutely an upgrade! It is equivalent height to the original, but has a slightly redesigned handle with a larger grip that makes it *that* much more comfortable to use. As well, this broom can be collapsed to 1/3 its height for easy storage, whereas the original can be separated into parts - which is much less convenient. I was able to use it under furniture, on baseboards, and on the floor, and am happy with how easy it is to maneuver. The heavy duty dry cloth is also an upgrade. While the original dry cloths work well, I found this heavy duty dry cloths are *that* much better at picking up my long hair (my hair sheds a lot, so this is important) while also collecting dust. Finally, the heavy duty wet mopping cloths also work well. The "heavy duty" cloth is thicker and more saturated (literally dripping) than the original wet cloths. I was able to scrub my kitchen and bathroom floors clean, so it's more convenient than bringing out a mop. I don't mind the lavender scent much, but it is strong and I prefer the original citrus "fresh scent" smell. So overall, this kit indeed proves itself to be more "deluxe" and "heavy duty" cleaning tool. Swiffer products are great, and I would say this kit is worth the upgrade. The heavy duty cloths work great- but it's still nice that all the original cloths can be used on this upgraded broom.
