A very low cost for tuners, but they are really just meant for lower end guitars. They suited my needs to a tee, as I was repairing an old, entry level guitar. The tuners were very similar to the ones that I replaced.
These are cheap for a reason, pretty flimsy and low quality. Everything seems loose and needs to be lubricated and tightened up to work properly. This went into a beginner beater guitar, so I didn't send it back.
They look and feel quite cheap. They are of mostly metal construction, with an exception of the knobs. This kind of leads to the cheap feel.
Installation can be tricky. The supplied screws don't appear to be a standard size of phillips screw head and can strip out quite easily, so be mindful. The gear cover is metal which is nice, but it can come apart from the body during installation.
Once installed however they are decent enough machine heads for the price. There are hard spots when turning them under string tension... it occasionally feels like you're about to break a string from the turning resistance, but it's just the pegs themselves. This issue may clear up with more use.
