Really neat. Helps a lot for stitching over dark fabric. I’ll never go back to trying to trace over my iPad. It does take a little soaking and ringing to get it all off, more so than recommended imo. But it’s a great purchase and simplifies the process of pattern transfer a lot.

    I was looking for a washable stencil that I could print on for a hand embroidery project and this checked all the boxes. It's a standard 8.5x11 so it's easy to print on, sticks well to fabrics but not so much that would make it difficult to remove, and it comes off easily with water. It leaves a bit of a sticky residue, but comes of easily with a wash. Will definitely be buying more of these in the future!

    This worked perfectly for my embroidery project. I’m a beginner at hand embroidery and needed another way to transfer images to my fabric other than pinning paper to it and scraping it off after stitching the outline (soooo tedious!)

    I had read about this and wanted to try it. It was perfect and performed better than my expectations! I was worried I’d be left with a sludgy mess of dissolved paper material after soaking in water but it all melted very easily and clean!

    Paper printed fine through my basic inkjet printer.

    During stitching I noticed my needle felt a bit sticky from poking through the adhesive, but it was not anything jarring for me. A little wipe with alcohol soaked cotton pad resolved that. The paper was also durable enough to last through many weeks of constant poking and stretching to get proper tension with my hoop.

    Great stuff and highly recommend. I will definitely order again when my supply runs out!

    Only wish it was offered at a slightly lower price point, but considering how well it works and stands up to use it’s worth it.

    Very easy to print pattern onto this product from my laser jet printer. Easy to use and place on fabric. At first I had a little trouble removing it from the fabric after I had finished embroidering. I discovered that the best way is to put the fabric flat in your hand right side up and hold it under cool running water. After a minute the Fabri Solvy begins to dissolve. Once most of it is off I use the spray nozzle to get the remaining bits off. This works far better than soaking it in a bowl. Then just lay the piece flat on a towel to dry.

    This was very easy to print on - you just need to make sure that you change the paper size before creating the document with images that you wish to print. I printed multiple small patterns on each sheet so far and have cut them out with no issue. The ink did not bleed, although I did change the transparency to either 50% or 20% - any more than that and the images become almost invisible. It washed off very easily under warm water.

    If creating a hoop with lots of detail (lots of satin stitch), I would suggest using a plastic hoop, rinsing the stabiliser off whilst in the hoop and allow it to dry in the hoop. I tried rinsing after taking my embroidery out of the hoop and the material warped and I couldn't get it back to shape with the tight satin stitch.

    Otherwise, this has been excellent for transferring intricate designs onto my material. A lightbox and a heat erase pen were not good enough at times.
