    This vermiculite was mixed with a brick of coconut husk for my starter seeds. I added water to the combination. The vermiculite absorbs water with out drowning your seedlings. Highly recommended. The coco husk brick I got at dollarama.

    This vermiculite came in a compressed state in a sealed plastic vacuum pack which made it about the size and firmness of a very thick clipboard. This made the shipping container much smaller than a loose product would have been. The product reconstitutes to very nice vermiculite for mixing with potting soil. I use a 50/50 mix of it with Perlite for house plants, succulents and seed starting.
