    I have used 10x or more for transporting a canoe on a suburban. They are fantastic for the price. Not too long, not too short and the protective flap keeps the buckle from damaging my fiberglass canoe. I use them in conjuntion with some velcro tie straps to keep the loose ends from flapping. They don't stretch or wander after 400km of driving at 110kmh in the rain.
