Dorothy Kelley Patterson is professor of Theology in Women’s Studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Forth Worth, Texas. She is a homemaker, popular speaker, and successful writer, editor, and compiler of numerous books including A Handbook for Ministers' Wives, The Family, BeAttitudes for Women, and Touched by Greatness: Women in the Life of Moses. Patterson is coeditor of the Old Testament and New Testament volumes of the Women’s Evangelical Commentary. Her husband Paige is president of Southwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary.

Rhonda Harrington Kelley received her Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of New Orleans and serves as the President's Wife and Adjunct Professor of Women’s Ministry at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA. She is a frequent speaker for women as well as the author of numerous books and coeditor of the Old Testament and New Testament volumes of the Women’s Evangelical Commentary. Her husband Chuck is the president of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

    Dorothy Kelley Patterson, a homemaker, has helped her husband Paige Patterson, formerly president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, serving as professor of theology in women's studies for almost four decades in three institutions. With graduate and postgraduate degrees in theology, Dr. Patterson teaches, speaks, and writes for women. She is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society, serves on the founding board for the Council for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, and attends Birchman Baptist Church. The Pattersons have moved to Plano, Texas, but travel extensively throughout the world. Their children Armour and Rachel Patterson live in Texas and Carmen and Mark Howell, with their daughters Abigail and Rebekah, live in Texas as well.

I received my new Bible yesterday and am delighted. Having lost my husband as well as four other family members this past year including my youngest son I felt I needed something to stir my heart again and this Bible went above and beyond my expectations. The print is a perfect size and the quality of the cover is also impressive. I love the design and colors inside and the floral design but what is really impressive and helpful is that each page contains a word study or character study and often a challenge to consider. It is a woman’s study Bible and has been thoughtfully filled with so many encouraging study helps designed specifically for our growth. The charts etc are right on the page rather than at the back of the Bible and everything has a standout design or colour plus it is beautifully indexed. Sometimes purchasing a new Bible like this is just what we need to be freshly inspired to engage in the Word.
