They are not a stepping stone, but rather really cute 'display' stones that would look nice in any garden or what have you. Haven't determined the quality of the paint yet, but I'm sure they will be fine.

    Just did these with the grand kids today. Aged 3, 4 and 6. Pretty impressed, as they are individually packaged in foam with paints and brushes with each step stone. Easy to for the kids to do and they really liked them. The size is smaller than I thought stepping stones would be but compared to the other kids ones I looked at, they are the largest. Really well packaged and great quality.

    I love this stepping stones craft set! The foam insert that holds the stepping stone while painting is honestly genius. It keeps the stone in place and really helps minimize the mess, especially when kids are painting — huge plus for parents.

    The only downside is that the paint containers are tough to open. Definitely something an adult should handle, as younger kids might struggle with it or make a mess trying.

    Overall, it’s a fun, creative activity and the finished product turns out adorable. Just have an adult nearby for the paint!
