    I bought this steel wool to clean my Staub cast iron pot, it did not work. Too many little strands falling off, you need to wear gloves and an apron to use it. If you don't wear gloves, the little pieces may cut your hand; and without an apron, the little pieces will get onto your clothes easily. Additionally, it discoloured my pot. This may work for other surfaces in your garage, but definitely not good to use in your kitchen.

    Used STEEL WOOL to scape the RUST on my OLD hedge shears.
    I soaked shears in white vinegar (it really works) in an aluminum flat tray 😱😱‼️ for a few hours. If there are areas you can't soak, soak a paper towel sheet with vinegar and place over that area. After a few hours I used STEEL WOOL to scape off rust. CLEAN/SPRAY with WD-40 (purchased on AMAZON). The brown/red rusty color came off. The blades are now a gun metal color.‼️‼️👍
