Used this on long 50' and 100' runs and worked great. the cables were the Fullink Premium Blue for TV Computer Projector 100 feet and 50 feet (but I see they are no longer available) the Fullink products are really good too.

I sometimes use it in conjunction with the Monoprice 4-Way SVGA VGA Splitter Amplifier Multiplier 400 MHz - Black (103570) and everything worked well. No interference as long as you are on the same power circuit.

I'm not using it for anything that's quality critical, so I kept it.

This VGA splitter is sturdy and well made; quality heavy duty housings and cable. I had no problems with the signal quality even when only one monitor was hooked up as some have mentioned. It should be noted that I am only using short, high quality VGA cords to hook up both my monitor and television at the same time (longest distance 10 feet) so I can't speak for signal quality at longer distances. The only difficulty I encountered is when rebooting my computer the screen resolution was changed from 1920x1080 to 1024x768 and the picture on the computer monitor was slightly over to the left leaving a small gap on the right side. I don't blame this on the splitter though as it was due to plug'n'play issues with having 2 monitor devices hooked up at the same time and the computer got confused. A quick change of resolution and an adjustment to the horizontal alignment on the computer monitor fixed the problems and they didn't occur again even when rebooted.
