The first two seasons were shot on a lower quality film by MGM because the studio originally didn't get the budget, therefore the master & press is going to be lower quality than season 3 on wards. This is not result of a bad press, disc press is high quality and comes undamaged. The lips out of sink is exactly as it aired on tv. I don't know what people are complaining about, the disc sleeves are a good way to store and ship discs. Heck, I would of been happy with paper sleeves and a small cardboard box. They keep the discs safe. Arrived as expected, thank you! :) Came with bonus content discs, Stargate Sg1, Atlantis and.... Universe. All episodes work. Legitimate presser for MGM

    I knew it would be has special as all the Stargate series - love the way all the blurays were pack in a pocket - all blu ray should be pack this way even the one for just a movie, it's easier to remove from the case to watch, you don't feel like you could brake the case and it's also much easier to put back in the case.

    This collection of disks is marked region a for USA only, but they all played on my pc or xbox with no problem I have not watched all the episode but I have tried all the discs and they load up with no problems. They only thing I had trouble with is the pouches the disks came in you have to slide them out without getting finger prints on bottom of disk. Picture quality is great after watching them on dvd for ages I would recommend this set.

    After watching season 1-7 with no issues, on disc 3 of season 8 the disc won’t play. The player says there’s an error and the disc is unreadable. So the whole of SG-1 is useless as you can’t miss out watching the episodes on a disc as you won’t know what’s going on. I’m so disappointed as I'm now wondering how many other discs could be like this and the set cost me a lot of money.
