    Andor is, in my opinion, the best Star Wars we've gotten in years (maybe decades?). Superbly written, top notch acting, beautiful cinematography, and a really great score. It's a truly grown-up, thoughtful, and gripping series about the seeds of the rebellion. There are no Jedi, no lightsaber battles, no "chosen ones", but this is really a must-watch show. It's the first time in any Star Wars media I've seen that the Galactic Empire is actually scary, because it feels so real and cruel and oppressive.

    This 4K UHD Blu Ray version now removes the shackles of streaming compression and really lets Andor shine. The video and audio quality is a noticeable improvement over the streaming version. I particularly appreciate the improved fidelity of the surround sound and how clearly you can hear the wonderful score by Nicholas Britell. I'm glad Disney/Lucasfilm is releasing shows like this on disc, it's really the best way to watch it if you're a fan of the show. This may not be kid-friendly Star Wars, but for those of us who grew up on that and now look for more depth and complexity in our entertainment, it's really an unexpected but welcome change of pace. Creator and writer Tony Gilroy knocked it out of the park.

    ...things that I'll consider as Star Wars from Disney. Rogue One and the first two seasons of The Mandalorian are the other two. I initially thought who would need to see a series about this guy when first announced but it turned out to be a great first season. Laser swords and space wizards are good but this story about more regular folk in a galaxy far, far away is great too. Slow at times but always interesting.

    This series focuses on the rise of the rebellion and is before the original 3 films (now 4, 5, and 6). Overall excellent story and depiction of the empire in its early stages. Highly recommend!
    This series does not include the more notable characters (ie. Vader, Kenobi, etc) it follows its own protagonist and his story

    I was initially skeptical about Andor., but I am so glad I bought this set. This is an EXCELLENT show. Every episode makes you want to find out what happens next. So you will likely end up binge watching this entire series in one weekend. It's that good!

    The Empire is menacing once again. In fact I think this show's portrayal of the Empire is better than just about everything else. You can feel the oppression. You can feel just how terrible life would be under this regime. It's also very believable and sensibly presented. There are no magic space wizards here. And it makes it more grounded and real.
