- Reviewed in Canada on April 26, 2025Verified PurchaseREALLY nice set of all 5 seasons for a very decent price and in a Steelbook! I picked this up for $63 CDN before taxes. Without the steelbook that would have been a good price seeing as how they were selling each season for 25 to 30 bucks each. It was a deal I could not turn up.

- Reviewed in Canada on February 14, 2025Lower Decks is one of the best star trek series and its a shame paramount canceled it after only 5 seasons as in my opinion lower decks could have gone on for another 10 seasons....
- Reviewed in Canada on May 7, 2025Verified PurchaseI have so far only saw the first 5 shows from season 1. Some language is beeped out just like when they were broadcast on TV.

5.0 out of 5 stars iiiiiiit's NAKED TIME!!!
Verified PurchaseGetting physical media has never been so important, considering alone how Paramount threw Star Trek Prodigy under the bus. And Lower Decks is a marvelous show. My only criticism is you can't get a version where the curse words aren't censored, but that's because the showrunner insists on having it that way because it's more funny. I know because I asked him. Still, I'm very glad I have my own copy. Ooh, also you can PAUSE the credits without having to worry about stupid "Next Episode" menu BS.

5.0 out of 5 stars This show is a love letter to fans!
Verified PurchaseOne of the best Star Trek series out there. An absolute delight for fans!
My only gripe is the weird case for this set where they stack 3 discs on one spindle. It makes it really annoying to try to grab the one disc you want.

5.0 out of 5 stars Star Trek cartoon
Verified PurchaseA great Star Trek animated series! Lighthearted fun comedy set in the Star Trek universe after The Next Generation timeliness. The featurettes are very short, nothing amazing. Recommended for kids+.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great content, crap implementation.
Verified PurchaseI want to make clear that this review is not about the content, Lower Decks rocks!! 10 stars!🖖🏼
However, I’m really disappointed in the packaging, etc. The special features are all tucked away by episode, meaning multiple clicks to get anywhere, and multiple clicks to get back. It’s 2025! Having a menu like this goes way back to the early days of dvds. I might be spoiled by the LOTR extended versions, with separate dvds for massive amounts of special features, but this is just totally inadequate, and frankly, a pain to navigate.
Then there are the stacked Blu-ray Discs. What? Stacked? Two discs on one spindle? We didn’t even do that to the cds we burned ourselves.
Oh, and there’s no menu on the box. No episode titles, etc. No original airing dates, zip. Nada.
I thought this was supposed to be special, the STEELBOX. Nope.
I expected better.
But get them anyway, because in this stupid capitalist world they could be gone from streaming tomorrow.
But I do love Lower Decks!
LOWER DECKS! LOWER DECKS!!
EDIT: I wanted to add a couple of things now that I've had the set for a couple of weeks.
First, my criticisms of the set have nothing to do with the content. And I don't mean to criticize the people that put this all together. My guess is that they worked with the budget they were giving, which was likely much less than what should have been allocated.
Secondly, I have now observed some of the fragmenting, etc., that other reviewers mentioned. Matter-of-fact, I gave up trying to watch the second disc of Season 1. Broken pixelation, and it basically would not even advance, except with jerks and jumps.
My blurry player(around a year old) plays all my other blurry discs fine, it is only these in the LD set that don't play.
