    REALLY nice set of all 5 seasons for a very decent price and in a Steelbook! I picked this up for $63 CDN before taxes. Without the steelbook that would have been a good price seeing as how they were selling each season for 25 to 30 bucks each. It was a deal I could not turn up.

    Lower Decks is one of the best star trek series and its a shame paramount canceled it after only 5 seasons as in my opinion lower decks could have gone on for another 10 seasons....

    If I'm being honest, when I first heard they were going to make an(other) animated Star Trek series, I had severe reservations, especially when it was going to have a more comedic tone. But once I started watching it, I thought it was GREAT!!! One of the best ST series overall! I love the comedy, but even more so when you ARE a Star Trek fan and get all the not-so-obvious references to other ST shows and storylines.

    To put it simply, my teenage son, who is NOT a ST fan of at all, watched it with me and even he thought it was funny and wanted to watch more. It didn't convert him completely (yet), but the fact he wanted to watch it with me filled my heart with latinum. If you're even a casual Star Trek watcher, I HIGHLY recommend watching this series.

    With the volatility of streaming services it's almost essential to have physical backups of your favorite shows and movies. To think of all the DVDs and VHS tapes I've gotten rid of over the years when we were going to streaming only to now start collecting them again. Anyway, this is a very well packaged, well put together box set of all the seasons of Lower Decks. It's an excellent show and honestly quickly became my second favorite Trek only behind DS9. Worth a watch and if you're a fan you should own this set because who knows if and when the Paramount service will go up and the future of Trek Streaming is up in the air again.
