I am really disappointed with this fob. First of all, it can be programmed easily, there is problem is that. The issue comes in the battery holder. For some reason, each time you use it, you need to remove the battery, press it with hand then use the fob to lock and unlock. Either the battery chamber is not to size, or loose or any other electronic issue is there. In the nutshell, it will be too inconvenient to use frequently

The Fob itself is great quality. I just wish I could DIY the program to my car. I have tried the 3 step instructions from manufacturer, as well as various Youtube versions. None of them work. I purchased this item because I thought I could avoid going to the dealership to get it done. I have a 2018 Chev Sonic. My original fob has buttons that don't work anymore and that's why I wanted this new one. So, transferring the board is not an option for me as the buttons on my board are damaged.

2 Fobs stopped working after less than a week of use!?

After spending $40 to get the key cut so I could program it, and it worked the first time, I tried to use the remote and it wouldn't work. Tried to Program it again and it again worked for a couple of times but on the third use it was dead again!

Bought a new battery today, replaced and reprogrammed and the fob no longer works.

No contact info for consultation/ troubleshooting, and no compensation for having the key cut if I send it back!

Stay away!!

Update:
After having to go through two tiers of �鶹�� customer service reps, amazon gave me an email address to contact the company, they quickly sent out a new fob to replace the defective one I got a couple of weeks ago from them.

Now I just have to pay another $40, plus a trip to the next town with a locksmith, to get this second one cut, before I can try to reprogram it and see if this one works. 🤞🏼

Update #2
After my last update I recieved an email from the vendor letting me know I just have to exchange the blades instead of getting another key cut 👍

"Just look up chevy flip key blade removal on you tube"

This means I still have to buy a kit to remove the blade from the currently non working fob and replace it on the new one, then program it then see how long that one lasts 🤞🏼

The lack of information included on the product site and packaged with the replacement fob is disheartening.

If I had had this information prior to the start of this fiasco I would have just put the old blade into a new fob, and ordered all the required tooling at the same time and would have been away to the races.
Now I wait for the removal tools to arrive....

The second replacement fob has also stopped working, I believe it is a flaw in the manufacture to have them fail one after the other like this.
Will try to find the email from the manufacturer to see next steps.
