Nice heavy duty ceramic coated steel grill for a great price
I got this for my Q1200 bbq that we use for camping. The item arrived quickly as was very well packaged. It is exactly as described in the description of the product. It is made from heavy steel that has an excellent powder coated ceramic finish. It is made specifically for the Weber bbq’s and fit directly into the bbq onto the grills. There are some vents built in around the side which should assist in regulating the temperature of the grill better than just having it solid. This will add a lot more versatility to cooking while camping and save space as now I don’t have to pack another cooking appliance for pancakes, bacon, etc and can just throw this on. There is a small drain hole to allow the grease to drain. For the quality of the product the price is very reasonable.

    This cast iron grill is a great way to replace or add a grill to your home grill or even for cooking at the campsite. So far it has been a great way to cook at the campground and I find the heat distribution is great. With the price of this grill, why not!

    The surface is extremely non-stick. I find it very easy to cook breakfast items on this griddle. The units fits onto the tabs of my q120 with some room to move it around, but it did come with a very minor warp out of the box. I find the single drain hole to be nice due to the griddles smaller cooking area, but I just wish it was located in a corner rather then the center.

    There are a few issues though. The griddle has issues with warping when it gets up to temperature. Because of this it needs to constantly be run at low. After the griddle cooks it goes back to shape. Even at low it will still warp, but just not as fast or as prominent as it does at high temps. I also encountered an issue where the burn tube on the q120 has 2 horizontal spots. At these spots the griddle has hotspots and the non-stick coating began to fail. I returned the griddle because of these two issues. I purchased another because I wanted to make sure it wasn't a bad unit. The second unit still experiences warping at temp, but not as prominent as the first. I also started to get the hotspots, but this time I covered up the slots with tinfoil to try to midigate the issue this time around.

    This griddle is great for anything you need to cook low and slow. The issues I mentioned above keep it from being able to being a great ally around griddle in my opinion. It would be extremely good value for money if it didn't warp and my modification to the burn tube works.

    This is an awesome griddle. Well made, heavy duty with excellent finish. Unfortunately, it does not fit the Q140 electric grill. It will not recess down due to the electric burners being up too high in the box. Not able to close the lid. Had to send back.

    Just finished my first meal on it and it worked beautifully. As others pointed out, it nests with the original grates and the Weber cast iron griddle. Now I can do full griddle at breakfast, all open grates at lunch, or one grate one cast iron griddle for dinner. Love the flexibility this griddle adds to the little Weber.
