    I was unsure about replacing my ceramic mortar and pestle with this small metal one, but I have no regrets. It's light and fits well into my kitchen drawers, and it grips well to the kitchen bench when you're using it. The cover is so useful when crushing spices, so stuff doesn't fly everywhere. The small pestle is a good size and shape for achieving a fine grind.
