We bought it to use with our k-cup machine that gives us the ability to brew regular coffee (ie not k-cup). The diameter make it working so that machine pour coffee right in it.

As for keeping coffee warm, seems to be good an hour after.

After a month of daily use, it appears it's bad to pour! Also, the bottom lost its paint. Not a big deal but after a month, this does not appear very durable!

This insulated coffee pot is a game changer in my use case versus the regular glass coffee pot. I make pourover coffee and normally by the time I ready up 700ml of coffee, the pot has already lost some of its heat. And after adding milk from the fridge, it becomes warm coffee. With this pot, my coffee stays hot after slowly passing through my Melitta Ready Set Joe. It also remains hot before I finish it all up.

I'm also quite happy that the Melitta fits perfectly on the opening as I couldn't really tell from the product photos. I am sure the Hario V60 would work just as well. I also like that the lid is insulated and water tight (good if you are moving about with a hot coffee pot). You press the button on the handle if you want to pour out more hot coffee out. It's large and holds up to 800ml of coffee. I also like that you won't burn yourself when handling the coffee pot as the outside stays cool to the touch.

Overall, I'm happy with this product and it's a vast improvement to what I was using.
