Yes, all are stainless steel, dishwasher safe. For polishing shinning surface, also easy clean up by hand.
Will the blade easy to bend or deformed?

Of course not. The FavorKit blade is made of thicker stainless steel and is not easy to bend. What's more, the blades are without any plastic surround. They are made of full stainless steel, which improves the slicing and shredding performance.
With arthritis in hands,can I use it to grate cheese?

Of course, it is powered by stand mixer and stainless steel construction, almost no need too much pressure on the food pusher during operation. Definitely much easier than those Box Grater or Hand Crank Grater.

Unless you are shredding large quantities of food items or you always have your stand mixer on your counter this may not be the attachment for you. Sure it may be faster overall, but if you just need to do a cup of cheese or veggies, it might be just as easy to use a box grater. I do like it for those times when I am making a carrot cake or a macaroni and cheese and need a large quantity. It works well and is not too difficult to clean. Despite not being OEM it fits the KitchenAid mixer perfectly well and functions as it should. Time will tell how long the blades maintain their sharp edge or if they rust.

I have an old plastic Kitchenaid grating attachment. It has a crack near the input shaft, and if you apply too much pressure, which is needed with hard cheeses like Parmesan, you can actually force the grater into the plastic housing and get shavings in your food. This is why as soon as I saw this item I ordered it.

The full metal design of this attachment set is so much better than my original. You can apply all of the pressure you need to make contact with the cutting edge and the thing just spits out the cheese.

I always got 2 bags of shredded Parmesan with my old attachment. I got 2 3/4 bags using this one. Now, I know that there is no more cheese, but it grates it up looser and fluffier so you will use a little less, and it will last longer.

If you make pizza or other meals that require a lot of cheese, this is not an optional kitchen gadget. It will change your life for the better and you will wonder how you ever went without it.

If I was going to find something to nit pick, the feeder tube could be a bit bigger. It would make it a but easier and faster, but it is not worth removing a star because it works and it works well.

This kitchenaid attatchment is absolutely wonderfull! It's very easy to connect to my stand mixer without effort or risk to damage it. It holds in place perfectly. It's very easy to switch between the different blades. They are also easy to clean, as long as you don't let it sit for days on the counter so everything dries in! It cuts easily carrots, cucumbers and more. It doesn't squish softer items either. Each piece is well made and sturdy. 100% worth it!

The good:
- fits my kitchen aid and works with it perfectly
- part are made of stainless steel and are the joints are well done
- the chute is heavy duty and made to last
- comes with 4 different blades
- the pusher is well made with a knob on top that is easy to grip

The bad:
- lots of sharp edges (not the blades) that seem unfinished
- edges are hard to clean (very small lip that food gets stuck in)
- 3 of the blades are not sharped and finished right - you can actually feel the sharpness when you run you hand on it backwards (the one slicer blade is good and sharp)
- wish the opening was a little larger

I make my own sauerkraut and shredded 4 heads of cabbage - there were a lot of large pieces that came through and didn’t get shredded. I usually use my food processor for this but wanted a thinner cut which this blade offered. But it was a bit more work having to cut smaller pieces and then remove and recut the ones that didn’t get cut. I also cut cucumbers (good) and shredded carrots (good).

Overall I am glad to have this product however at the price of $100 I would expect a better finish on the blade and the edges not used for cutting should be deburred.

Picked this up in hopes of replacing our old fashion cheese grater. I wasn't disappointed. It actually took more time to set up than it did to grate 16 oz of cheese. The connection to the mixer seemed loose when I set it up, however it worked just as intended. Swapping different blades was easy and locks in good. I actually enjoyed pushing the cheese through, rather gratifying. I did find that there is a small gap between the blades and the main body of the mixer which results in some cheese build up. Like wise, cleaning is a lot like good old fashion hand graters but with a lot more parts. When grating you will need to be careful to place the bowl UNDER the grater rather than the mixer platform area. On low speed it functions fine, but higher speeds (which is ideal for larger amounts of grating) I found the cheese rather shoots out at an angle which can be messy if you are not careful and prepared. I have not tried this yet on other foods like cabbage, however I highly suspect it will work equally as well.

After use I think it works well, but because of all the parts I have to clean and the issue with trying to catch the grating in my bowl, I personally think using a food processor works better and catches the gratings a lot easier as well. It's nice however having this attachment available as it's a hand saver in comparison to manual hand grating. At the present price of $44.99, it seems to be with in fair market value.
