    I got this to be able to use the Tesla Mobile Connector to be able to change my Model Y from the same plug as my dryer. It worked great. I've had it on my dryer for weeks, no issues. I just did a test to confirm I could charge my Model Y with my setup (I also got a NEMA 14-50 Extension Cord); but I currently have Free Supercharging for 2 months so I am not actually charging my car at home right now. I will need to make a sign or something so no one runs the dryer while I'm charging.

    Since our dryer is just inside from the garage, we thought instead of installing a charging port, why not tie into the dryer plug. This works perfectly. We dry during the day and charge at night. We added a 15 foot cord to get to garage (husband did a great job of running this through the wall) and then simply plug in the Tesla mobile charger and charge away!
