Let me start by saying this little remote control car is built tough. It can handle the rough and tumble play dished out by little kids and some adults who act like overgrown kids. It bounces around, crashes, flips over and recovers nicely even from accidental falls down the stairs (which for some reason just kept happening over and over and over again… because they love watching it bounce down the stairs).

The incredible lights on the wheels make using the car when it is dark very fun. There are also two headlights and a rear centre taillight. The kids and even some of the adult men really liked the “spider” face design with the blue and red colour theme that continues with the remote control pad in the same colours.

The Gralima spider remote car is great for doing stunts. The usual forward, backward and turning left or right were easy to master. Spinning in either direction was hands down everyone’s favourite movement. The next favourite was making the car slide/drift side to side but this takes a little more practice. The car can drive on both sides (top and bottom) so if it flips over (or “accidentally” falls down the stairs numerous times) it can continue driving on the side it lands on which is wonderful because it saves you from the need to turn the car right side up manually.

We all watched the video on the seller’s page but we haven’t been able to make it stand on two wheels and drive or stand on two wheels and spin. Knowing that it can be done inspires us all to practice more in an attempt to achieve and master this particular stunt.

I particularly appreciate that the car is rechargeable using a USB cable so there are no batteries to contend with which is better for the environment and my pocketbook. The car comes with the necessary USB charging cable plus a small screwdriver and the batteries for the remote (one day someone will create a rechargeable remote).

This spider remote car will not only give adults and children alike many hours of entertainment but will also challenge everyone to attempt more difficult movements and stunts. I highly recommend this Gralima spider remote control car. At a cost of $39.99 (January 2025), you will more than get your money’s worth from this vehicle.

As though normal RC stunt cars aren’t fun enough, this car with its omnidirectional wheels takes fun to the next level! It’s very rugged and fast; perfect for outdoor play. An anti-interference remote control means that you can play with more than one car at a time in the same area. For me, the fun of an RC car is being able to race around, over, and under obstacles together with another player. Gimmicks that some other types of RC stunt cars have just don’t keep people engaged after the initial novelty has worn off. How many times can you watch a stunt car that projects the word ‘GOOD’ into thin air or that sprays mist?

A stand-out feature of this particular Gralima car is that the car itself has a USB port by which the battery can directly be charged. It’s safe and simple even for a child. This system on the Gralima is substantially superior to what most other stunt cars out there offer you. With them, you need to find the screwdriver, unscrew the battery compartment, gingerly disconnect the battery from its fragile, finicky connection as you hold your breath, connect the battery to an intermediary cable which is also fragile and finicky, and then reverse that whole process with the hope that the screw and the screwdriver can still be found. The single battery on this Gralima stunt car gives you a solid 40 minutes of run time.

This Spider-Man themed remote toy car is friggin awesome! I was genuinely surprised by how fast it is. We gifted it to our little cousin, who is a huge Spidey fan, and he absolutely freaked out when he saw it. He played with it for about three hours straight, only stopping for some quick recharges. It's now his favorite toy, and even our dog loves chasing it around the house!

The car is impressively speedy and pretty quiet, which is a great combination. The controller is compact and easy for little hands to manage, and the car itself seems durable enough to withstand a good beating. It's taken quite a few tumbles and crashes, but it keeps on going without any issues. Recharges quickly and lasts long enough for a full use before the kids move on to something else.

One thing to note is that the handling of turns and maneuvers is non-existent - does that matter? Heck no.. say goodbye to any real turning, and the maneuverability is a bit lacking. However, this doesn't seem to bother my cousin at all. He's not using it for agility; he's all about the speed. The thrill of watching it zoom across the room is more than enough for him.

I got a couple of these cars for my kids, a 4-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl. They both love their cars! My daughter loves the lights on her car. My son says "It goes fast! And it's dangerous because it's spikey on the front and you have to jump so it doesn't get you!" I will qualify that by saying, yes, it does come to a bit of a peak at the front nose of it, but it's not super pointy and no one has gotten hurt by it.

It is a really fun toy, for me too. I remember playing with RC cars as a kid and it was fun to crash them, but a pain to have to run over and flip them back over to keep going. That's not a problem with these cars! They can go and go and go and you don't have to worry about them flipping over and getting stuck since they are double-sided and run either way. They really are a blast, and the USB rechargeability is nice. The battery lasts a decently long time before needing a recharge too.

I ordered two of these for our kids: one from a different brand that looked similar but came in a different color, and this one. It turns out they’re basically identical, which is great for us, as that means no fighting. A red spider car for our boy, and a pink one for our girl. Everyone is happy. And, oh boy, do I mean that.

These little cars are actually pretty awesome considering how inexpensive they are. They can crash, flip, drive sideways, do donuts—you name it. Don’t worry about your little ones going nuts with these; they can take it.

Also, the lighting all over them is a really cool feature. I especially appreciate that you can charge the cars via USB, and that batteries were included for the controller. I’d expect the controller will last quite some time. I haven’t actually timed the battery life of the car, but I’d say it lasts around the advertised time—give or take forty minutes. Not that it matters much; just plug them in for a bit, and it’s off to the races again.

This is definitely a great gift for boys or girls of any age. I don’t see my kids getting bored of them anytime soon. Heck, even I had fun driving them around. I have no problems recommending these at their $25 asking price. If you can snatch them up on sale, do so with confidence—they’ll prove more than worth it.
