Sturdy and Precision: The rail is made of 6061 high-strength anodized aluminum alloy, never bend or warp, even after lots of heavy use. Laser pre-set position for Z axis, easy to adjust the height without slip. This product can be used in conjunction with SpeTool dust collection(ASIN:B0D78YXTK8) to effectively capture 90% of wood chips for a more comfortable working experience.
Accurate height adjustment: 5 Pre-set Z axis positions to adjust the sled's height without the need for balancing , ensure stability and accuracy, range from 3/4inch to 6inch, suitable for thinner wood compared to other sleds. If the milling cutter length is not enough, you can also purchase the Router Collet Chuck Extension for extension.

Our router flattening sled provides a wide height adjustment range for precise control over depth, accommodating various workpiece thicknesses effortlessly. With 5 preset Z-axis positions from 3/4" to 6", stability and accuracy are guaranteed, ideal for thinner wood.

If the pre-drilled router plate doesn't fit your router, you can DIY the blank router plate to match the hole positions on the bottom of your router tool. The base plate size is 10.8" x 8.7".

Decent product, if set up correctly... Unfortunately, the paper instructions are lacking alot of detail and are a bit confusing... I did need to procure longer plate screws to accommodate the DIY plate to match my router. And I also needed to get a 1/2" collet extension, since the rails add distance.

The sled must be built as square to your table, and square to itself as possible, for best outcome.

I recommend watching the assembly video, and using it to reference the paper instructions...

I highly recommend centering the bars to your perfectly level and flat surface. (I used sawhorses and a 4'x8'x1" sheet of plywood, attached to 2x4's, for my table) Then, using a framing square to perfectly align the roller brackets to the bars. That should be mentioned in the instructions.... Other than that, make sure to always have the rollers clean and their paths clear of debris. I used strips of wood to create a simple shroud for the wheels. I also am using forced air to keep the area around the wheels clear (on the closest side to the debris being created).
It should also be noted, to make sure the router plate is tight in place before cutting. I suggest locking the rear stop, then rotate the plate in place, then bring in the other stop tight to the plate. There should be no vibrations or noise.

And lastly, make sure your bits and fasteners are all tight, and to check them from time to time.

So far this sled is working well for what it's designed for.

Pros: heavy gauge steel brackets and aluminum extrusion, routing height selections is a big plus, and the acrylic router plate fits Bosch full size router.

Cons: I was confused by all the extra parts come with the unit without explanation of their usage. The ends of the extrusion are sharp and scratches the acrylic plate when inserting into the track. I had to file the edges to avoid scratching the acrylic plate. Also the extrusion has some dust (fine aluminum filings?) the plate didn't glide smoothly until I clean the track with mineral spirits and then spray dry lube with PTFE. It should be included as assembly steps in the manual.

Overall it is an adequate products. I like their roller design doesn't limit the run length as long as you have straight edges for them to roll on. Other system uses linear track run smoother but most lack height selections and has limited track length. I recommend this unit ,but hindsight, I will buy a linear track system which usually costs more.

If I could deduct a half star for the directions I would. That being said, once you figure out the frat step or two, it’s really easy. It was a bit finicky getting it set to my tables width but I’m used to setting things up and it taking a few tries to get it perfect. Once set up, it rides extremely smooth. The adjusting of the height is really quite easy. I got this model as to not have to store rails which is a big plus for me but I do plan on making a permanent flattening table in the near future where I won’t mind having rails. This product gives me faith that their other professional flattening system will be worth it once the time comes. I got the dust collection upgrade and it dramatically improved that aspect compared to my home made flattening jig, which had no dust collection at all. This thing is sturdy, runs smooth, is made of Ridgid materials, fit and finish are nice. It’s hard to knock any points off of it. It does exactly what it claims it does in the videos.
