I purchased this 2-in-1 Hot Pot and smokeless Korean BBQ of Soupify. Used it only once so far. I am happy about the product and I will recommend to any family and I already have.
Reliability: I don't know about that but I purchased 3 yrs of warranty. I only used once.
Pros:
1) Convenient and easy operation. Good heating coil system. More than enough heat to both BBQ and
Hot Pot when used concurrently.
2) You have to remove your BBQ items immediately once ready before it over cooked.
3) I had to reduce the temperature so soup won't vaporize quickly.
CONS:
1) Hot Pot bowls are quite small, but good for 4 people. I don't think it will be enough for 8.
2) I used a Surge protector first, but surge cut off the power with in few seconds of using it. Directly
plugged in to the wall, worked fine
3) Power cable is too short
4) We used it indoors, though there were not much of smoke from BBQ, home smells for few hours
after all turned off.
5) If you are using this in a wood dining table, please place this on a heat resistant mat.
6) If using this with more than 4 people use a round table, so everyone can site equally closer to the
pot.
