I bought this as an open box but it came in a really beat up container and was missing items and looked like it had some miles on it already. Although initially disappointed I needed it for a trip to a camp and it worked ok. On my newer LCD TV it would stop after 5 minutes - picture off - sound played. Eventually I moved it to the “analog” hookup with some RCA cables and although the picture is slightly less - worked fine. As others have mentioned the resume play bookmark is a great feature it has that I wish my more expensive blue ray had
Overall for the price - a fair deal for a good brand name - package and (used) condition were a bit of a letdown but overall - ok
