If you are a gamer on a budget and want to use Voiceattack control, this is THE ANSWER! I bought several more expensive "Gaming Headsets" locally and windows simply didn't recognize the mics properly. I received the headset this past weekend and immediately put it into test mode as being trapped in the house for such a long time I have been doing a fair amount of gaming. The unit comes with the headset itself with a hardwired cable that leads to an inline control for adjusting the volume as well as a slider to turn the microphone on and off. At the end, there is a standard 3.5mm audio plug as well as a USB (the USB is used to power the "breathing lights" that the unit has inside and is only for this option). There is also an adapter to allow you to use the one 3.5mm jack and split it for PC sound cards that require one for headphone and one for mic, this comes included in the box.
The headset is made of a rigid plastic though it doesn't feel cheaply made. The type of plastic actually seems to be lend to why the headset is so lightweight. I had the headset on for quite some time both gaming and as a headset during Skype calls for work and I barely notice the weight with prolonged use. The light build coupled with the ample padding that is on both the earcups and on the underside of the headband itself meant I had no issues wearing the headset for prolonged periods and it never caused me discomfort as others have.
The ear cups are large and really help block out a lot of the ambient noise around me when I have them on, and I only hear the game/meeting while they are on. The adjustable scrollwheel on the cable for volume as well lets me make sure I am not missing anything as I can choose my own levels for the sound, and turn the mic on and off directly without having to hit anything on the keyboard to mute myself. The people on the other end of the call have mentioned that there is no distortion or issues with me speaking and they can hear me loud and clear.
The only bummer in this case for me is that due to the construction, when using these on a console, there is no USB power and the lights themselves don't light up, but when on a PC, you can simply plug them in and that will work. That is called out in the questions though so was not a surprise to me when it arrived.

The adjustable scrollwheel on the cable for volume as well lets me make sure I am not missing anything as I can choose my own levels for the sound, and turn the mic on and off directly without having to hit anything on the keyboard to mute myself. The people on the other end of the call have mentioned that there is no distortion or issues with me speaking and they can hear me loud and clear.
The only bummer in this case for me is that due to the construction, when using these on a console, there is no USB power and the lights themselves don't light up, but when on a PC, you can simply plug them in and that will work. That is called out in the questions though so was not a surprise to me when it arrived.

The audio for game chat is amazing and players on my team report that they can hear me really well thanks to the noise canceling microphone. Gaming audio is also great, I’m able to hear footsteps when they’re coming close as well as enemies reloading or clocking their guns. The build quality feels sturdy although it’s all plastic, it bends and twists around without a problem.

The headband has two sliders made of plastic for adjustment on either side. The inline volume control has a swivel to control the volume and also a small switch on the side to mute or unmute the mic. The volume swivel does operate in the opposite direction you’d expect, but is not a big issue. The headset has soft and breathable memory foam earmuffs, features a surrounding stereo effect, and a noise canceling microphone.

The light up colours do require it to be plugged in via USB, so I don’t find myself using it as much. I’ve found that connecting it to a power bank and keeping it in your pocket is the best method as you can still move around with your controller freely. The cable range is very lengthy looks like it can extend about 4ft/120cm from where you plug it in making it ideal in all situations.

I’ve used it during multiple occasions of gaming and have only some pressure develop on my head nearing the 2 hour mark. I do feel like the headset itself is a bit too big for my head which would explain why the pressure develops during long use. The mic extension on the other hand is perfect and stays wherever you place it and also fits flush into the headset when not in use.

For such an affordable price, I’d definitely recommend this headset to gamers as it provides the same quality features as other expensive brands. The ability to hear footsteps and react before your opponent insures that you have a higher chance of killing them. So for that reason alone I’d recommend these to anyone looking to improve their gaming skill.

So, bought this last year, so I'd say I've used it enough to give a proper review now.

Insofar as price for product, I suppose it's good. The audio is decent, if not a bit tinny at times - it's developed a bit of a crackling off and on now so I'm not exactly enthused, but it was like 30$ so the fact it's lasted a year is a bit of a miracle.

The only major complaint I have is actually the mic. My friends on discord constantly complain that they can't hear me- and it won't pick up my voice at all sometimes. I've tested my old (slightly broken) ps4 gold headset but it doesn't have the same issues as noted with this one. That's a bit like comparing a gold apple to a tomato though. They're both red but that's where it ends.

Beyond that - the headset is lightweight and comfy and doesn't make my neck hurt if I've been wearing it a while.

I suppose overall it's an okay budget headset, but don't expect anything groundbreaking is all I'm saying.

This is my review for the ARKARTECH blue and black gaming headset.

PACKAGING : Pretty standard shipping as far as these cheaper headsets go. A colorful box with images of the headset on display. Once you open the box you'll find the headset, a splitter cable so you can use the headset on a PC, and a manual. Overall the shipping is nothing special but definitely isn't a con.

DESIGN : The design of this headset is mediocre at best. I don't know why but most of these cheaper Chinese headsets are HUGE! While this isn't really a con as far as comfort goes, they do look pretty goofy on your head. They're made out of a pretty cheap plastic, and the slides for the headphones do not feel good at all. The colors are pretty good, but I have one BIG gripe with the design, THE STUPID RGB. Why in the world would you have a color scheme consistent throughout the entire headset, then just mess it up with an RGB light you can't set to a specific color. The RGB light fades throughout the rainbow, and most of the colors just don't look good with blue. It's annoying and really increases the silly look of the headset IMO. While I did list a lot of cons, you've got to factor in the very cheap price, and with that I don't think you're getting gypped at all, but I really don't like those colors.

COMFORT : The comfort on these is very good, I have worn them for hours at a time, for a few days and they have not been uncomfortable in the slightest. The padding is good for the money and the earcups don't touch your ears at all. In this situation I figure the light plastic actually plays itself as a pro as they don't press down on your head despite their weight. Overall I am VERY satisfied with the comfort of these.

SOUND : The sound gets a meh from me. It's clear, and good for watching videos, and the stereo sound works well for games like CS:GO where sound is important, but as far as music goes, its really lacking in the low end, as most of these cheaper headsets do. Overall the sound is satisfactory, but nothing more.

MIC QUALITY : This is what impressed me the most. I don't know what it is about these cheap Chinese headsets, but their mics are SO GOOD. I have tried the mics of many, much more expensive headsets, and they let me down time and time again, but these are clear, with low static. These work great for Discord, Skype, game chats and the likes.

OVERALL : Despite me listing all of these cons, I still give this headset a 5 star rating because there isn't anything that it does poorly that can't be overlooked by the price tag. Yes, its built with cheaper plastic and doesn't sound outstanding, but its only $27. With that price point, it does have quite a few pros too, like the comfort and the mic. Overall cheap attributes. The mic is not moveable so if you are a quiet talker you need to find a different head set. The head set feels cheaply made as if I drop it, it would shatter into pieces. There is not sound cancellation. It sounds like they took speakers out of a toy and put them in the head set, and it seems like they couldn’t decide wether they wanted them to be a USB or Wired headset so both wires are together giving you a rats nest all around you. The mic on/off switch unit is accompanied by a volume dial giving this a very heavy tug on the wire so if you plan to use it for long enough, the wire would get pulled out of the headphones for sure. There is actually pictures missing as well in the description. They don’t show you the usb, or the straight mic. The also don’t show you the module where the mic on/off switch is.

Overall I was not too satisfied with this headset and was going to return them. Before I returned them I left a review about this headset about everything I didn’t like. I didn’t end up sending the headset back because I gave them to a family member that was in need of a pair so I gave him the headset. The seller reached out to me regarding the review and was able to help me out. This new review is going to take into account what my family member thinks of this product from 3 months of use as well as my experience with the seller.

1. Appeal
I give this a 3.5 out of 5 being that they are appealing to look at, they do feel on the cheap side. However, this is not all that bad for the price, so 3.5. One gold star.

2. Sound Quality
Again, this is not a Bose headset so if that is what you are looking for, go buy Bose. For the price I bought these for and for what my family member uses them for (gaming) they do quite well, and he has given them a 4 out of 5. So for the price, I’ll give the head set a 4 out of 5 for that. One gold star.

3. Customer service
I had written my first review in December of 2019. The seller did not get back to be until April of 2020. I realize that the Caronavirus did start showing up in China around the time I left the review so I will not be rating the speed of getting back to me due to this reason. I can say that the seller did offer to refund me or send me a new headset and was extremely pleasant to communicate with. For that I will give a 5 out of 5. I will give one gold star for customer service.

Purchased this gaming headset while looking for one to replace my previous one that had its mic malfunctioning.
While looking for a decent headset at competitive pricing, I found this headset on �鶹��. As you can see in the picture, the headset comes with an instruction manual and a free connector (which is a nice touch on the seller's part).
I was able to connect the headset to any 3.5mm headphone jack and/or two 3.5mm jacks for both mic and headset. USB cable attached helps with cool side ambient lights on the headset. (You won't be able to see it while playing gaming because it's on the side, but it's still cool)
I do voice chats often on Discord for gaming and day trading in the morning. The headset delivers the sound loud and clear. You can hear other people really well with this headset.
In terms of sound quality, it is good enough. Let's be real, you're not buying something like Bang & Olufsen, Bose, Harman Kardon, etc. here. Nonetheless, the sound quality is decent enough with a good level of noise cancellation that gives you a good focus for whatever you are doing. If you plan on hearing some heavy base music, you will hear the woofer sort of ripping like noise.
I also like the nice touch on the microphone that can be traced back towards the headset for easier and safer storing. Mic quality is good as well, the others are able to hear me well while chatting.
Overall, given how much I paid for the headset, I am satisfied with my purchase and the quality of the headset I received. Would recommend the others as well. As a matter of fact, my teenager brother is already stealing my headset for his gaming! hahaha
