I was spending ridiculous amounts of money on my HP subscription and finally got fed up and canceled it. What they don't tell you when you sign up for that stupid subscription is that the ink cartridges they send you (that you have paid for!) will be disabled as soon as you cancel. Cartridges worked like a charm in my printer, no issues what so ever. Sure the colour isn't 100% as sharp and crisp as the HP, but for the price point I can happily live with it! UPDATE: These are now double the price on �鶹�� and their �鶹�� store, so looks like the seller is attempting to get more traffic to their site instead. I WONT SPEND THIS KIND OF MONEY ON THESE CARTRIDGEDS.
I had ordered some ink for my new HP Printer 5255 which I bought at Costco, as the ones that came with new printer ran out quickly. This printer accepts 2 -HP #63 type cartridges, one color and one black. However these can cost about 40$ each, so I was looking for a knock-off replacement NOT MADE by HP. Printer ink is a scam. You spend more on the ink than the hardware, but INK is needed.
I originally ordered some knock-off Chinese cartridges which were advertised to fit the HP 5255 printer, which I installed and the printer promptly told me I was using cartridges which were out of date and would not function. BEWARE (of Ouguan Ink Remanufactured Ink Cartridge Replacement for HP 63XL (1 Black 1 Color) with Ink Level Indicator) as my $35 bucks went out the window, couldn't even send them back to �鶹�� because the return date had passed. I might as well just thrown a $20, a $10, and a $5 bill out the car window as I was driving down the street. I was furious. Back on �鶹��, I looked through the array of cartridges which were available, I came across these from Smart Ink Re-manufactured Ink Cartridge Replacement for HP 63XL 63 XL (Black & Color 2 Combo Pack) . They were $40 and had some decent reviews, so I had nothing to lose except more of my hard earned money. So, I only bought the two pack, to try them out, as I did not want to get burned twice. I put them in, they were accepted by the printer software, and away it went. Great color, solid black color, and each and every page comes out the same nice quality, looking pretty good for a small, cheap in-home printer. The seller provided what was promised and sent them quickly ( I received them in 24 hours). I have re-ordered more and will continue to use these UNTIL I have a problem, which I hope will not happen.
