After the product is installed, will it loosen?

It is secured to a camera via one 1/4"-20 screw and two locating pins, with silicone cushions on the top and bottom to prevent scratches.

Will the camera body be scratched when using the NATO handle ?

The top of the new version of Cage cancels the design of the NATO rail, you could use the top handle 2165C/3765 or 1984/1638B .

If you want to use the NATO handle, you need to buy NATO rail BUN2521B separately

Its a good cage, perfectly fit r6 and r5, alto the only few issue is that the bottom side which is made for arca swiss clamp, wont fit the ronin dji clamp or any clamps that isnt possible to fully enlarge , only because is shaped so that wont allow for slide in, the actual size is good.
Another thing i wish they had done is to have more nato style parts on the sides of the cage like they have on the top they could've easily done it on the sides and perhaps even on the bottom, it seems quite wasteful to have to hook up extra rails on there just to have a nato rail attachment, an doing so, you basically will cover the screw holes , since there isn't much space left.

The older version has a top NATO rail system, the newer cage does not. The newer version has better clearance for the Mode button on the top right of the camera. Otherwise, the version I received is fine.

So I've ordered many cages and this is my first for the R5. It's a low profile cage and easily grants access to the battery compartment. It also fits on my gimble without issue.

Couple of notes: The cage does keep the hot shoe slot on the camera accessible, which allows you to mount a handle there or on the cage itself.

The cage does cover then screen light button on the top of the R5. I assume to prevent it from being pressed and draining battery, but something to consider.

Smallrig gear is awesome. This cage fits great for video. I wish it left just a little more room for my Peak Design strap anchors but it works great. Sufficient mount points for what I use anyway (I'm mostly still but do some sports video). Can mount an external recorder, phone mount (always have backup recording!) and shotgun mic easily.

Only caveat is to only buy from the Smallrig store on �鶹�� because resellers are problematic (at best).
