  • Excellent Handgrip Feeling: This product not only fits the camera curve seamlessly but also maintains the overall original handgrip feeling. The ergonomically design provides a comfortable and secure hold on the camera.
  • Two-Points Locking: The half cage 4337 locks the camera via one 1/4"-20 screw and one M2.5 screw, which maintains full access to its ports, controls, and battery door and provides protection for your handheld camera rig. Note: Please remove the strap ring on the left side of the camera before installing this half cage. Please refer to user manual for installation.
  • Multiple Mounting Points: There are multiple mounting points for accessories, including 1/4"-20 holes and 3/8"-16 locating holes for Top Handle 3765, Side Handle 2913; one top 3/8"-16 locating hole for Monitor Mount 2903B; cold shoes for microphone, LED video light; a NATO rail for Rotating NATO Handle (Left Side) 3260; and a bottom QD socket for attaching shoulder straps.

Excellent quality compact half-rig for a6700
I was looking for an unobtrusive cage for my Sony a6700 and can confirm this is by-far the best option for a lightweight, travel-friendly set-up. It allows me to keep my carrying strap always mounted on the grip-side along with accessories such as a top-handle and shotgun mic. There is also a mount for an HDMI cable clamp which isn't included (and cannot be purchased separately from Small Rig) but may be compatible with some 3rd party clamps. The integrated Arca-swiss plate also makes it very convenient for quick-mounting to compatible tripods. It uses 2 anchor-points to secure to the camera via the bottom thread and a hex-key screw on the strap mount. I use a top handle attached to the bracket and can confirm that it can support heavier lenses and accessories without issues and feels very secure in-hand.

    Great Half Cage. I've purchased the Full Cage before but it was very uncomfortable. I can see where a Videographer will find more use for a full cage but as for photography, I found the Half Cage to be the perfect size and fit for my needs. It's an all aluminum body build, very sturdy, with a nice black coating that blends well with camera. I love the fact there is no obstruction to the camera body handle, and accessing of the battery, and SD card slot. Cage also offers multiple attachment points. The pre designed arcaswiss plate makes mounting onto tripod faster with one less thing you have to screw and unscrew. The angled cold shoe mount is a nice add on allowing to offset a mic or light. There's also plenty of mounting options to add on to the cage if needed. Cage even has its own L wrench tool, and flat head, that's magnetize to the cage itself. Although not as heavy as the full cage, you will feel a weight increase when carrying around. All in all its a great add on to your camera and will definitely be keeping.
