- Reviewed in Canada on November 15, 2023Verified PurchaseThis scooter is the best. It is very stable and can take on any outdoor terrain at ease with no worry of tipping. It has changed my ability to be independent post injury allowing me to return to work and ADL. The BEST would highly recommend. The wheels do come deflated so just ensure you have a pump and i wish the basket was slightly larger but other than that it it amazing!
- Reviewed in Canada on December 4, 2021Verified PurchaseI am super happy with this scooter. It’s of good quality and is extremely useful. If you live in a Winter climate don’t get one with smooth tires. And get a basket!
- Reviewed in Canada on July 19, 2024Verified PurchaseI broke my ankle in 3 places and required emergency surgery to add screws and a plate and put it back in place. I was not able to put any weight on it for 8 weeks so I needed a good knee scooter. My husband bought me a pricey one right away from a local medical equipment store and I immediately hated it. The wheels were the small hard type and would catch on even the tiniest pebble on the sidewalk and almost send my over the handlebars. I began looking for a new one with bike like tires and came across this one. I'm 5'4 and 135 lbs and this one was a perfect size for me. My husband put it together very easy and after taking it out once, we noticed one of the inner tubes had a defect and wouldn't hold air. I contacted the company and they immediately sent me out a brand new tire and an extra inner tube. It arrived within days and have been using it non stop! This scooter is smooth, comfortable, sturdy and goes over bumps like nothing! I highly recommend this scooter and this company! Update: I just received a bill for $43.52 for taxes and customs fees for the replacement wheel. Just a warning if you're outside of the US (I'm in Canada) and you get a defective scooter like I did and need a part, covered under the warranty, you will have to pay extra. Feels like a slap in the face!
- Reviewed in Canada on September 12, 2024Verified PurchaseExcellent item! Worth every penny! I used it for 3 months after breaking 2 bones in my foot. I was unable to put any weight on my foot but with the Knee Rover I was able to get around my Home and property with ease! Whoever designed this knee scouter knew what they were doing! It fit on the back seat of my SUV weighing only 28 pounds it was easy to lift.
I believe that anyone who is incapacitated by a foot injury should invest in the purchase of this product. You won’t regret it.
- Reviewed in Canada on November 9, 2021Verified PurchaseVery good Knee Scooter for smaller adult and out door usage (on relatively level ground). Well built
- Reviewed in Canada on December 10, 2022Verified PurchaseOut of the box one of the tires has a broken prong and will not not hold air - no option to return/report a defective part. Very frustrating as my son broke his foot and we got this for him to get around easier. My husband ended up going to a bike shop to get a replacement tube for the tire, but it’s still annoying when purchasing a item that this this expensive. The actual scooter is well made and makes it so much easier to get around (plus it’s a fun colour and he can stow his school stuff in the basket). Rated lower because of the issue with the tire - no everyone would be able to find a replacement for it quickly
- Reviewed in Canada on December 1, 2020Verified PurchaseUpon receiving the product, I noticed a manufacturing flaw in the main frame of the Knee Rover. I contacted Knee Rover and they IMMEDIATELY shipped a complete replacement unit. Bravo! Great quality overall, pneumatic tires make all the difference!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome knee scooter!
Verified PurchaseThis knee scooter was perfect for my 4-foot nine year old. It could easily adjust and fit many adults too. It also fit me great and I’m 5’5, and there’s room for someone a little taller than me to use it. My daughter had to use this knee scooter for six weeks. I also purchased a thick memory foam pad to go over the scooter’s pad. She was able to use the scooter kneeling and give her knee breaks by sitting on it and scooting. The hand brake worked great, I just needed to adjust it after she had been using it for about a week and that was it. The scooter is built solid. It’s not the lightest weight, but the weight made it super stable for my daughter and she had no problems at all with it. I could easily pick it up with one hand in front of the pad to load it in my car. The wheels rotate super smooth and quiet, and it rides very nice. She could go off road with it and had no trouble - it handled uneven terrain very well. The turn radius is not the tightest, but that is a safety feature so you don’t turn too sharp and topple over. This was very much worth the purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Saved my back!
Verified PurchaseMy 8 year old sprained his foot near his toes and even with a boot couldn’t put any weight on his foot. So I became a pack mule, lifting his 75lb frame up and down stairs, and down the hall every time he needed to potty or when it was time to eat. This scooter is a back saver. My son is able to pull himself up onto it from the couch and zooms around to get where he needs to go without pack mule momma. Handling was stiff at first but husband oiled the handlebar and aired the tires up more and it’s great. Our son can easily enter our small hall bath to go potty without help. It’s stable when turning and the lower height setting (15” seat) is perfect for his shorter legs. The locking break is wonderful for when he needs to sit or adjust himself to transfer to a chair/couch. We haven’t taken it outside yet but he wheeled the scooter over a pile of blankets without any trouble. At this point I think it’s more a toy for him than a means of transportation. :) It’s saved my back and our summer!

5.0 out of 5 stars Saved Our Alaskan Cruise – Highly Recommend!
Verified PurchaseI don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one. My daughter broke her foot just before our family’s Alaskan cruise and was completely non-weight-bearing. This scooter was an absolute lifesaver — from navigating airports to cruise ships to the rugged terrain of Alaska, it made everything so much easier. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone in a similar situation. Our favorite features were the sturdy tires, which handled all kinds of surfaces, and the convenient basket for carrying essentials. Truly a game-changer!

4.0 out of 5 stars Probably better than most on the Markey but not without its flaws
Verified PurchaseProduct took about 30-45 minutes to assemble. I wanted to add the stabilizer wheel but could not get the bolt off for the life of me. I work out 6 days a week and I had a man try. The bolt is stuck. I technically shouldn't need the stabilizer wheel as I have good balance, am young, and athletic, but I've had 4 falls while using the scooter in my 5 weeks of use. All of my falls have happened while trying to turn around. The scooter is not easy to maneuver in tight spaces. I've pretty much broken all the rules in the user manual. It says you shouldn't back up but that's literally impossible in my kitchen and bathroom. I have to go up and down curbs regularly as my apartment complex isn't accessible. I scoot faster than a regular walking pace. To make tight turns or turn around, I pop a wheelie on the back and rotate. It's actually been while using the scooter properly that I've fallen. The pneumatic wheels are excellent for sidewalks that are uneven. I end up needing to pump the tires with air about every 2 weeks starting the day I assembled it. The biggest design flaw is that the turning rods have a bolt at the hinge and my shoe laces will get caught. I have to stop, reach down to the ground and unhook my shoe laces, untie them and loosen, then re-tie. It's honestly better to just not have shoe laces but I prefer a good athletic shoe. I added an $8 phone and cup holder meant for a stroller and it's been a lifesaver. My knee was sore at first then again when I changed from a bulky Jones splint to fiberglass cast then again when my cast got bivalved. The soreness only lasts a day or so then my body adjusts. Therefore I haven't needed to spend money on an extra knee pad. Folding the scooter to fit in smaller cars is a huge hassle. The mechanism isn't self explanatory and it involves undoing the seat and having to remember what height you had it set at. I have to fold it for all the uber and lyft drivers then hop to my seat while they stow it in the trunk. Don't listen if you read other reviews that complain about the brakes. It clearly says how to tighten them in the instruction manual and even gives you the tool. All in all, this has been a mobility life saver, it's way better than crutches, but the iWalk 3.0 hands free crutch is the superior mobility aid for a lot of circumstances.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little scooter
Verified PurchaseI purchased this for my mom to use after her ankle surgery. Previously I had the larger version of this one years ago when I broke my leg, but I don't have that one anymore and it always used to get stuck in doorways. This little scooter on the other hand is not too wide and passes through doorways without any issues or scratching of the walls unless you're careless with it. I'm 5'3 and my mom is shorter than me and we were both able to find a comfortable position with the scooter. I honestly think this would work for most average heigh adults but anyone who is like 5'8 or more might have an issue.
Setting up the scooter is also a breeze and only slightly confusing on one part but I quickly figured out my mistake. I would say that it's a great value and a necessity if you plan to leave the house at all because the tires on most of the other scooters do not do well outside such as on sidewalks or parking lots.
