    I purchased this sitz bath for my mother who recently had her hip replaced and wanted to bathe but was not able to do so due to ambulatory restrictions regarding her new hip. The sitz bath helped her to maintain personal hygiene.

    The bath sits over the rim of the elongated bowl of her toilet without sliding around and she fills it with warm water and soap. She bathes without needing to bend her replaced hip to an angle greater than recommended by her orthopedic surgeon and the bath is rinsed and allowed to air dry. The volume capacity of the bath is approximately 2.5 litres and is more than enough for my mother to bathe. The pump that is used to provide the cleansing and refreshing spray of water appears to be sturdy and should provide reliable use over the time my mother needs to use this bath.

    The bath itself is made with sturdy but lightweight plastic and has four little feet at the bottom to rest on a smooth surface without sticking to the surface due to wet conditions. The overflow opening could be a little larger to accommodate unexpected "accidents."

    However, this bath is a very good product.

    Ideal sitz bath for post op! So easy to use, fits nicely and securely upon the toilet. Its lightweight and simple to use. I appreciated that it even came with a wall hook so to hang it up in a shower area to dry or to hang for storage if necessary. The suction of the water is fair, it does what is expected.

    Nothing feels as nice as a sitz bath when you’re experiencing pregnancy-related issues in the downstairs area. This was easy to use on my elongated seat (I didn’t lift the seat up, I put it directly on the seat), and very easy to clean (I used the tub to clean it though since it’s just a little too large for the sink). Can’t complain at all about the functionality of mine.
