Product description

Simply Clean Baking Soda is pure sodium bicarbonate produced by the traditional Solvay brine process. This process combines salt (sodium chloride) and limestone (calcium carbonate) and uses ammonia as a pH buffer and carbon dioxide as a precipitating agent. The carbon dioxide and ammonia inputs are recovered and recycled back to the initial brine solution. Our Solvay plant reclaims almost all its ammonia and the only major by-product is calcium chloride.

    This product will be spilling baking soda all over the box onto the other products you’ve ordered from 鶹. So be aware of this. The baking soda comes in a paper bag that leaks. I bought 2 bags along with many other items and it was everywhere when I recieved it. The bags were not broken but I’m guessing the stuff just worked its way out during shipping. So just buy it alone.
    I’ve put the baking soda in between the interlocking bricks in my backyard. It seems to be slowly killing a few weeds. One thing I’ve noticed is the instructions said to wait till it rains. Well I did and most of it blew away. So next time I’ll just wet it gently myself.

    I use this in our pool to raise the alkalinity (and sometimes ph). Especially after a really good rainfall. It works! Start with a small qty in relation to the size of your pool, test again, and adjust as necessary. Works like a charm, and it’s pure. Don’t even bother with overpriced pool supply store products that are full of extra nasties.

    We also use this in every laundry load to keep everything deodorized and fresh smelling. Highly recommend!
