These silicone loaf pans are perfect for baking! No more greasing the pans! No more hard cleaning/scrubbing to get the metal or pyrex loaf pans clean! These are a time saver. This is the first time I have used silicone loaf pans and it has worked out very well. As a comparison, I made loaves of banana bread in the silicone pan and a pyrex loaf pan. The bread in the silicone pan required additional 15 minutes more bake time vs. the glass pan. For the bread baked in the silicone pan, the bread pulled away simply by pulling on the sides and and it was easy to turn the entire loaf out onto a plate. Both breads tasted delicious. I have attached a picture of the silicone vs glass pans for comparison. Loaves are similar in colour and both loaves are about the same size. As others have mentioned, these pans are more suitable for loaf cakes and not for baking a full size loaf of bread. Overall, these silicone pans aren't flimsy. The pan's walls held its shape well while baking. Also has a sturdy handle for picking up your loaf. And easy clean-up. Highly recommend!
They are as described. It's non-stick, cleans easily and has no problem with the heat of my oven. My only issue is that the material is so soft that if you don't carefully make a slit at the top, it expands on the side.
I bake a lot of loaves of varing flavors. These loaf forms bake well. They allow a beautiful golden crust to form all sides of the loaf. Clean up very easy , the price fit my budget. Very good product.
I bought these just to double my bread when I was making bread, Well actually when my bread machine was making bread, In-stead of making/cooking 1 loaf & taking so much time to make it. I simply put the ingredients for the biggest loaf the instructions said it could make in to bowl then set it to the dough setting & let it mix the dough, When it was mixed I divided the dough into the two silicon bread pans to cook them in my convection oven (2 at a time, in less then 3.5 hours the bread machine would have taken to make one loaf) What I noticed was yes the silicon pans would cook the bread (and so easy getting the bread out of them) But the silicon pans tend to bulge out on the sides, Letting the bread end up kind of looking like a old boat, the best way I could describe it, But it doesn't effect the cooking or the taste of the bread
