I had to replace the existing kit because it ticks very loud. This arrived in time, but the thread is shorter than you would think based on the product picture. I had to remove the clock back support for the nut to catch on to the thread. The clock case is just a 2 mm metal sheet, and the support is a 3 mm composite disc. All hands came out straight from the box. Works silently as described.
