The sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens is a good performer, especially at the price. Wide open, corners are slightly soft but very usable, and center sharpness is very good. Image quality improves a bit upon stopping down. Auto-focus appears to be good, with little hunting or missed focus. I love this lens in the right conditions. The bokeh is amazing. Hardly any chromatic aberration that I’ve noticed. It’s focal point is kind of close (8-10ft) and if you shoot any further away the quality suffers greatly.

I use it on my canon m50 mark ii - it has issues connecting. It comes “loose” easily, where electronically it disconnects and my screen goes black which is extremely inconvenient so I don’t use the lens for something reliable, I can’t risk it in situations like a wedding.

This is a great prime lens for the money, and pairs very well with my Canon M50. This takes clear sharp pictures and I'm happy with my purchase. The only thing I found out while shooting, is that my shooting style is better zoomed out a little more that the 30mm offers. My favourite lens out of the Sigma trio line-up would be the 16mm. I would recommend any, or all, of the trio of Sigma lenses made for M mounts.

This is a great lens in terms of sharpness and overall build quality. I reluctantly returned mine due to the large size and obvious distortion (not actually a fault, but also not automatically corrected in the M6 I had).

The Sigma 30mm f/1.4 is a great option for someone who wants a lens that can create beautiful portraits and also have a nice standard focal range for shooting other subjects like landscapes or sports. Build quality, ergonomics, autofocus, image quality, and value are all impressive on this lens.
