After extensive research, I've seen written in multiple places that these (this company and this line of paint) would be mat paint. They're not. They're satin-glossy. The paint is thick and applies well overall. It is not as fast drying as mat paint is, but it does thicken up on the brush quite quickly. I've had no problem mixing this paint with other brands and even with a bit of water to loosen it up.

Coverage is alright, the colours are bright when painted on white, but they are not opaque as mat paint is, which is something to consider when layering colours. That being said, I've been able to reach opacity after a few coats.

I use it to paint DnD minis, and I will say I would not do everything solely with this set, but it's a good add-on to a mat paint collection. The plastic caps are really nice, I sometimes use it instead of the palette to put paint on, if I know I'll only be using this colour, and I can keep the bottle closed with the actual cap so the paint doesn't dry too fast.
The shiny part adds nice details, and the metallic colours are really nice, although they are significantly better when layered on top of a coloured base coat. It also allows to customise the colour (yellow or more orange undertone gold for exemple).

Not sure if I will buy it again, but I'm still happy I have them. If I were to do it again, I might go for a smaller pack, for my use anyway.
