    I honestly love the sound of this one compare to the shureM7B sound I can't afford that one so I listen to it on YouTube. I am shocked how well this sound is it's nice and crisp I can finally not worry about the background noises. I love how it comes with an audio interface for free with it , I switched from physical audio interfaces to PC vers. I love it how it's on PC you have bigger space now for the desk to use on.

    - Good quality build, looks and feels solid.

    Cons:
    - Mute/unmute sensor button. This made me make a return. It's unusable, imho. I tend to touch the mic and move it around sometimes. The sensor button was always instantly triggered, and the only way to know if you were on mute or accidentally unmuted yourself was to lean all the way forward to check the button's light at the back of the mic. Eventually, you're getting paranoid if you are really on mute atm and need to check that light all the time.

    - Although it's a dynamic mic, it was picking up the sound of my keyboard, which was located at the back. I could manually play with the intake sensitivity so as not to annoy everyone with my clicking sounds.

    If you're newer to recording, streaming, or podcasting I strongly suggest the MV6. I got mine as a last minute upgrade to use on two projects and wound up purchasing a second to upgrade my wife's setup. The clarity and the difference you'll hear when playing back across other devices alone makes up for the price difference of cheaper mics. JI will add, if you're on windows...double check the mic's volume and the softwares volume settings via your computer's system settings...for some reason windows likes to turn it down initially and sometimes after updates. Additionally, the MV6 has some weight to it. The shell over the mic is plastic but the body is solid metal and sturdy. I would suggest a nicer boom arm, with it's weight the cheaper ones will produce sound and have some difficulty maintaining it in the same place. Just remember to set up the free Motiv Mix software as the mic in for your recording software and chat services and you're good to go.

    Bought this after looking for a standalone mic for recording my voice. Overall, I’m really happy with it!

    It’s quite literally plug and play. Although be mindful that the box comes with a usb c to usb c connection. I had a spare cable that let me plug into my old USB slot but worth remembering in case you don’t have one.

    Once plugged in you should download the Shure app in order to have a proper look at the microphone and enable/tweak settings. The little stand it comes with is also great, although I wish it had the ability to adjust height. I will say though that it feels sturdy and is made of metal which in my eyes is a plus.

    Due to the nature of this kind of microphone (dynamic), you don’t need to worry too much about sound isolation or noises nearby, but you do need to speak closely into the microphone in order to get the best sound from it.

    After recording few samples, I was really surprised with the quality of it. It’s not perfect, but is completely on par with a lot of the voice recordings you’ll hear on YouTube videos. You get a full sounding voice and sounds far more professional than recording from your laptop or phone.

    I’ve tried this on Mac and Windows without issue too. I would recommend this for most people, especially if they don’t want to have a massive microphone stand setup or a mixer to deal with.
