Our moisturizing Bar soap is formulated with fair trade Shea Butter. Through our proprietary Shea Emulsion technology, we were able to break down Shea Butter into thousands of droplets that provide even, smooth coverage across the skin. This soap is black and huge!! I dropped it while washing and moved my foot just it time but I was afraid it would dent my bathtub it’s so big. It smells nice, cleans and it has these little scrubby particles in it that I like!

    This soap has been remarkable for a rash that has been on my hands for years. I have had prescriptions, herbal products, etc. and nothing has worked. I looked at my hands today and thought...they look lovely! Swelling gone. Itching gone . Moisturized and smooth. My routine is this. I use it to wash my hands during the day. I wash them and rinse them well and then I do a second washing, lather up and let this dry on my hands and leave it on as I go about my business. I have been doing this for a month and I do this procedure again before bed. I am in my 70ties and this has not dried out my skin. However, about 4 times a week I put either Castor Oil, Vaseline, or Hand cream over the soap lather before bed and wear gloves until this soaks into my skin.

    This soap really clears your skin, not a pimple on my face and usually I get a few breakouts during that time of the month around my chin area and the 3 or so months i've been using it I haven't had my monthly hormonal breakouts! It is a very drying soap, I only use it once a day at night when i'm cleansing my face from makeup and daily pollution etc. Some people have to use it once every other day to build up tolerance to it, but I decided to use it every night and within a week my face was fine. I was using coco and shea butter to moisturize and that kept my face soft. If you use it on your body stay away from using it on your intimate parts, it can also be used on your hair as a bar shampoo it has a lovely powdery scent that goes away so don't worry about that if you don't like powdery scents. Didn't notice it removing or fading acne scars, but my face was less red. My skin is very dry and it seemed to accentuate my fine lines. I think this soap would be best used for oily acne prone skin as it says on the package, and for dry skin like mine maybe once or twice a week to give it a deep clean on a no makeup day.

    Omg!! I know a few people said “this isn’t the REAL African black soap” but I thought I know this brand and as a newbie to this, I felt safe ordering it and I’m sooooo sooo glad I did - ever since I’ve been on my contraceptive pill (about 4 years now) my skin went mental and i now suffer from adult hormonal acne - I’ve tried millions of regimes, diets and products and spend hundreds but Sadly have never gotten amazing results - I decided to go back to my roots and had see many girls of my ethnicity raving about this soap and how it “cured” acne and so I decided to test this in my cleansing routine and within a week of using this my skin for the first time in years looks amazing and smooth - the dark spots and bumps are fading and my skin overall looks healthy and I’ve gotten many compliments on how it looks glowy now too!
    Some tips / facts for anyone who wants to buy this:

    1. It smells amazing
    2. Cut it up into dices as it’s a fat bar and you don’t need to use it all and it will last forever
    3. As it’s quite strong - I use it once every night followed by a small amount of tea tree face wash
    4. This bar will last a long time

    Overall this is 10/10 and I hope it carry’s on working for me! Fingers crossed
