These are decent quality pens. I would say weight-wise they are on the lighter side making them feel like disposable pens. I thought they would be a little more substantial, even though they are disposables, because they look quite good when viewed through the packaging. If you like pens that are more weighted these are probably not for you. I normally like gel pens as they write very smoothly. These Sharpie ones are not as smooth as I was expecting but pretty good nonetheless. The ink comes out well but they will take a second or two to dry. If you are not careful the ink will smudge. These may not be ideal for lefties because of this. A few other features I do like. There is no cap to lose. You just click the top to retract or to pop the ink tip out. There is also a textured grip for your fingers to hold, which does make it feel better to write with. Lastly, I like that there is a clip so you can attach the pen to your notebook or a pocket.
Overall, this is a pretty good set. I like you get 3 different style of pens (i.e. black, white and blue exterior colors) and two different ink colors (blue and black). This let's you mix it up a bit when using or if you want to color code what you use the pens for. With 12 in the pack you get plenty to keep around, which should last quite a while depending on your usage. Losing one will also not break the bank. This would have been 5-stars item but I thought these pens just didn't write as smoothly as gel pens typically do, or at least disposable ones that I have used in the past. They are still pretty good though so if you are in need of pens these do work nicely.
