when I saw it, I thought it was awfully small, and wouldn't work worth a hill of beans, I had an old cleaver I bought from a dollar store, that had got dull, so I tried it in the sharpener, and oh Boy! I'd better watch what I chop with it now, then I did a pair of cutting scissors I bought at a dollar store and wham! the same result very quickly sharpened! this is great for something so tiny, looks like a school pencil sharpener a really good buy for me, get it! more than worth the money! great buy and use for dull knives and scissors and cleavers around the house smart little product and easy to store in a drawer in its little box love it!
