WHY I BOUGHT THIS: I've used robot vacuums for many years now, but I always keep a handheld handy for when cat litter gets in crevices or other hard to reach (for the robot) places. My Dyson was just getting weaker and litter would fall back out of it once it was powered off, and really, it was just too big for what I needed.

THE GOOD:

SIZE & WEIGHT: The size is fantastic coming from larger handheld vacuums. It just feels like a natural extension of your arm. Part of that is that the weight is evenly distributed and you're not fighting to hold it up. The charging dock is small and simple enough that it's out of the way. I've included a photo with it and an Xbox controller for scale. This can easily be tucked away on a shelf easily!

NOISE: Noise is subjective - and I was amazed at how quiet this was. However, you'll read reviews on �鶹�� and other sites saying it's extremely loud. So, I'm coming from a Dyson handheld, and then of course my robot vacuums - this Shark is only 1/2 the volume of those. So, I was pleasantly surprised by this.

SUCTION: My cat has always loved to be vacuumed. So I tried that with this and OMG it literally sucked all his fur/skin up and the suction was so tight! He didn't mind, but I could barely remove the vacuum unless I turned off the power. Also, I have a hardwood floor with some little gaps in between. No. vacuum has ever been able to get the bits of litter from there - but this one can. This is the most powerful handheld vacuum I've ever used.

THE KINDA GOOD:

THE BATTERY: The battery life is sufficient for my needs. I literally just need to vacuum for 1 minutes around the living room getting litter/cat hair from under a few speaker stands etc. However, if I wanted to use this for my Jeep that would be a close call and so depending on your vehicle it might or might not work for you.

THE NOT SO GOOD:

PACKAGING/ACCESSORIES: I have the WV200C which is the Canadian version. It is (at this time) $60 cheaper than the US version. All my research said that there might be one less accessory.

However, what has happened is that the supplied dock does not hold both included attachments - EVEN THOUGH the manual explicitly says it will.

I've included photos showing the correct model of vacuum, and the instructions saying that there is a double pocket storage tray that YOU MUST insert into the stand yourself. This is NOT TRUE. The stand included is pre configured with one storage slot, there is no way to change this. I've included a photo showing this single tray.

THE CHARGING BASE: As others have noted, I do wish it was able to be hung from a wall. Options are good.

IN CONCLUSION: For me, this is a great device. I don't vacuum for more than a few minutes at a time and the suction is fantastic. I'd rather have this instead of more battery but weaker suction. It looks good, can be stored nearly anywhere.

I'm giving this 5 stars because even the short battery life won't interfere with how I use this. Worth the purchase.

I’ve embarked on a cleaning journey and I’m fully committed to keeping my spaces clean which is why I bought this handy little thing!

The suction is good, it picks up every little hair, and with the attachments I can vacuum everything and every little nook and cranny.

The battery life is quite subpar though. On a full charge (3.5 hours) it lasts up to 15 minutes for vacuuming. I guess it's meant for quick clean up which is fine with me, but I am a bit disappointed.

False advertising this is NOT the 10.8V version it's 7.2V

This is advertised as being the 10.8V version but it's not, it's actually the lower power version which only has a 7.2V battery. This results in the motor running slower so doesn't produce as much suction as it could've if it was the normal advertised version. I bought and returned 3 of these over the course of a few months and all ended up being the 7.2V, my theory is that they stopped producing the 10.8V version to save costs on the additional battery cell but this is super scummy since they didn't change the model number or updated any of the marketing. Even on Shark's official website for this product they still advertise it as being 10.8V. This type of under-handed silent nerfing of products by manufacturers needs to be called out and shunned by consumers this is happening far too often especially with things like SSDs.
