    I really wanted to like this, seriously. We already use the Seventh Generation gel for our dishwasher at the advice of our repair company. We switched to this thinking they would compliment each other but also because we use minimal cleaning products in our home, with minimal chemicals & this fit our as little chemical as possible philosophy. This essentially felt like we were putting water in the rinse aid... IT DID NOTHING!!! We paid $24 for this garbage & I'm not super happy about it.

    The first time I got hot sauce, instead of this product, I tried getting help. The person at the other end of the chat told me that I'd have to get to purolator or UPS to return the tiny bottle of hot sauce that I received instead of the rinse aid. When I said it really wasn't worth my time to rectify an error, I did not cause, I was told I wouldn't have to return the hot sauce. It was a "one time exemption". Another rinse aid was shipped to me. I received the package labeled rinse aid the very next day. Impressive. Only it was hot sauce again.

    This rinse aid DOES NOT contain the dangerous chemicals that ..."New research has found that the rinse agents used in those dishwashers gets left behind on dishes after the cleaning is done, and those residues may end up contaminating the foods people eat. The rinse agent residue seems to damage the cells that line and protect the gut, which could be increasing the risk of disease. I'm happy Seventh Generation is keeping with their original mission " to transform the world into a healthy, sustainable, and equitable place for the next seven generations.

    I've been using this Seventh Generation rinse aid in my Bosch dishwasher's rinse aid dispenser for a couple of months now. I was hesitant to go the all natural route since we have very hard water in the area. Plus the Jet-Dry I was using was doing a great job, so I didn't want to mess anything up. Thankfully, I had no reason for concern. My dishes continue to come out of the dishwasher sparkling clean with no water spots and very little standing water on the tops of glasses and mugs.

    FYI: I have a Bosch 800 Plus series dishwasher that has a built-in water softener and I use Finish Quantum Max Powerball dishwashing tabs.

    All in all... a great natural product.
