I was hesitant to buy a chemical toilet for camping but so glad I did.

We used to rely solely on campsite facilities. There have been several floods this year that shut down those facilities. If it wasn’t for this toilet we would have be stuck and possibly had to cancel the camping trip. We now use it as our primary toilet when camping.

The toilet is easy to use. My young son is the one who sets it up. Only takes a minute or two to.

I was pleasantly surprised at how simply and clean the emptying process is. Easily empties into the camp site approved dumping stations. I generally give it 2 rinses with water after emptying. And that’s it. It has always cleaned up perfectly and never smells during storage. Just always remember to use the correct treatment product.

This porta potty is a charm in my opinion!

I have used over a period of 2 months and it's very easy to empty in an outhouse or regular toilet. As other commented - Don't put the TP you use in it; use a small garbage on the side for it so you only have human waste to empty and it goes like a charm (ok.. it's still a gross task but honestly its no worst then emptying your RV tank in the sewer and goes like a charm!) Obviously use some TST deodorant to help keep the odor away and help the composting process - easily do 4 to 5 days for 1 person using it continually.

Very sturdy and fit in our RV bath so winter camping is a lot more fun now.

Transporting the waste tank is easy, yoi don't see any of the gross stuff cause the lid is closed and so far I felt very safe transporting from my camper to a toilett or outhouse without fear i'll be splashed...

As i said... love it! One of our best investment for dry camping and winter camping.

Only one minor complaint, seems to be impossible to completely empty the holding tank, always still has a small amount of liquid in it no matter what. Washed it out and tilted and shook it but never completely empty so needs to be well washed out.

The waste spout (orange part) is locatrd ON TOP of the cannister and also swings out. This is probably a feature that you did not think was important. But it actually makes this product superior than the others (which have their spout locate fON THE SIDE). For side spouts, if the cover happen to malfunction, it's going to leak. With a top spout version, even if it malfunctions, it will not leak out because it's on the top.
Made of sturdy plastic and is also seamless around which adds to the sturdiness.

I used this over the past weekend for a quick camping trip where the flushies were a little bit too far away for night visits and our pop-up doesn't have plumbing. Overall a great purchase!

I'm a 5'5" 200lb woman and found this perfect sized for me. It felt sturdy and I never worried about it tipping over. In fact my privacy tent blew over several times during a windy night, but the loo stayed put.

I paired it with a small lidded automotive trashcan with a grocery bag liner for tossing toilet paper rather than putting the paper in the loo for easier emptying. Also the toilet was reserved for only liquid waste (basically the same setup I use for the night bucket this replaced).

I added a biopak sanitizer pod to the black tank and a few flushes worth of water to start out the weekend. I had zero leaks or malfunctions. Always pull the flush handle slowly with the lid closed. I used the pump rinse twice with 3 pumps each time after each use. I was the only one using it, and I don't think it was but half full after 3 days. It never smelled and was pretty easy to empty into the campsite's sewer pipe, although it took two people because the pipe cover was spring-hinged.

I do agree with other reviewers that it's difficult to get all the water out completely. Now that I'm home, I plan to clean it with Simple Green and leave it all out in the sun to dry.

Recomiendo antes de usarlo hacer pruebas con agua limpia sin hacer ninguna evacuación fecal u orinal para ver funcionamiento y posibles salpicaduras y así afinar el proceso antes de la hora definitiva!

Excelente artilugio jejeje!
Le doy un 1000% de aceptación.
Muy práctico y eficiente, ligero y sorprendente de manejar.
Para esas personas que acampamos en medio de la nada y lo primero que hacemos al amaneces es lo inpostergable, esto es tu mejor aliado.
Al momento de desechar el contenido es sumamente fácil, solo es cavar un pozo o llevarlo a un sanitario y verter el contenido, fácil y sencillo.
Durante el uso,.solo tener un poco de cuidado al abrir la manija para que se vaya al contenedor de desechos, hacerlo despacio al principio y luego abrir completamente ya que puede generar un vacío extremo y saltar un poco el agua y contendió y la respectiva salpicadura.
Recomiendo antes de usarlo hacer pruebas con agua limpia sin hacer ninguna evacuación fecal u orinal para ver funcionamiento y posibles salpicaduras y así afinar el proceso antes de la hora definitiva!
El envío fue en el tiempo que informaron.
El costo es un poco por encima del promedio pero lo ocupaba para entrega rápida así que no tuve más opción que comprar este, pero si lo compras con tiempo encontrarás mejores ofertas.
Venia en caja original, bien embalado y con su garantía e instructivos.
La altura del bañito es similar a uno fijo y no batallas para sentarte o levantarte y es muy estable, no se siente para nada frágil.
