    Securing an undermount sink is hard enough without the proper hardware and these definitely were a life and wallet saver.     Had just moved into a 30 year old house and after just a couple weeks the kitchen sink fell in! Had no idea how to fix this, I wasn’t about to drill holes into the underside of my countertop to install new clips. I found these glue on clips on 鶹 and they did the trick. Not exactly an easy project though. I had to scrape off all the old silicone, and scrub the underside of marble countertop with alcohol and a wire brush to make it as clean as possible for a good epoxy bond. I decided on the clip spacing and marked their locations on the counter top with masking tape. Then I used Gorilla 5 minute epoxy to glue on the clips to the underside of the counter being sure to leave enough clearance between the lip of sink and the clips. I found I had to use clamps to hold the clips on until the glue set or they would fall off. After letting the glue dry overnight, I used a bead of silicone around the top of the sink and then braced the sink from underneath, not trusting the clips to exert the firm pressure I wanted to maintain on the sink until the silicone dried. Finally, I snugged up the clips and removed the under sink braces. Between the clips and the silicone adhesive, so far, so good. Been about a month and a half now and the sink works great!

    Update: it’s been about a year since I did this project and the clips are still doing their job. I had one clip fall off after a couple weeks, but it was one I wasn’t able to glue on firmly to the underside of the counter due to old adhesive from the original install that I couldn’t get off and I t created an uneven surface for the clip to adhere. The sink still seemed secure, so I just left it off. We use the sink every day and I have no doubt will give us many years of trouble free use. Still very happy with the results.

    The sink installed by previous owners was coming undone. I installed these under-mount anchors on my granite slab a good 24hrs before installing the sink. I cleaned the underside of the slab where these are installed and wiped them down with alcohol and let dry. I used a syringe of 2 part epoxy (JB weld 5min epoxy 3900PSI) to dispense about a half dollar size of adhesive. Mix for about 1 min and then applied a bit to the bottom of the stone, and then dropped the anchor in the puddle with a twist. Put it up on the stone and wipe the forming drips to make an even layer around the bracket, keeping epoxy off the stud. I kept that up for about 3-6 minutes per anchor while keeping it pressed to the stone. After about 6min, the epoxy was cured enough to move to the next one. Tightenting these up made squishing the RTV around the sink base very easy. I hope the epoxy will hold for years, will update if anything changes. Recommend these for ease of sink installation.
