    This air conditioner has really helped us survive our record breaking 90 degree temperatures this summer. It fit easily in our window. We just plugged it in, turned it on and within an hour our family room was cool and dry. After cooling the room we set it to auto and it has kept the room a consistent temperature of 72 all the time. It did come with a remote but we haven't needed to use it. The noise level while the motor is running is on the low side but can still be heard. While on the automatic setting I hear everytime it starts and stops. Although I can hear it doesn't mean it interferes with the tv sound or conversations. It is more like white noise in the background. I am completely satisfied with the performance of this ac unit and would recommend it to everyone looking to survive this heat

    Great air conditioner. We've hit a recent hot spell, and this thing has been a workhorse. I won't say it's quiet, but it gets the job done, and the eco mode and low fan speed are both quieter options that aren't overwhelming. In terms of function, it does exactly what an A/C is supposed to do, and it does it well. it's compact, and installed very easily. The functions are minimal, but useful, and the remote control is a useful accessory since we use it in the bedroom.

    Great value and great function overall.

    This unit replaced my smaller unit in the master bedroom and it makes a world of difference. My master bedroom is always overly warm, no matter the season. We have central air, but it struggles to keep the room cool. This was easy to install and comes with foam insulation to seal up any air leaks you may find. My room has never been more comfortable and I no longer have to have 3 fans running along with the window unit. A+++
