I am a huge fan of unique lighting. For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated with what can be done with lights. I saw this bubble tube fish light and I had to give it a try. I had not seen a light like this before.

The light arrived very well packaged. It comes with some simple instructions, a power adapter, and an instruction sheet. There were also 13 fish and sea creatures included.

This thing is huge! It's almost 4 feet tall.

To set this up you need to put in about 2 gallons of distilled or reverse osmosis water. You then wash the sea creatures and put them into the top. You plug in the adapter and that's it.

You can turn on the light with the buttons on the base of the light or you can use the included remote.

When I first turned this on I was very surprised at how nice this looks. There is a humming noise that comes from the air compressor and then bubbles, lots of bubbles, start going up the tube.

The humming noise is not very loud at all and is minimized by putting this on a carpet.

There are multiple LED lights and you can adjust the color of the lights. I prefer the mode where it changes different colors automatically.

The fish all have tails that move and they stay upright in the tube.

Initially, most of the fish stayed in the top 1/3 of the tube but as it says in the instructions, with time they will begin to fill the whole tube.

I am very impressed with this light. It is nice enough that you could put it in any room of your home including your living room.

It would also be perfect for a kid's or teen's room as it can double as a night light.

I have a 15-year-old autistic nephew who was thoroughly fascinated with this light and I will be getting him one as well.

This has definitely exceeded my expectations. It is well-made, looks great, and really makes a nice conversation piece.

The price is very fair and I do recommend this to anyone who likes lights that are a little different.

It also makes a great aquarium and you do not even need to feed the fish!

Extremely pleased with this lamp! It’s quite large and looks great in a corner of a room (bonus points if you put it by a mirror!)��
Easier to set up than I thought, it came assembled and all I had to do was stand it up somewhere, fill it with water (you’ll need a large jug or a hose, it takes quite a few gallons!) and push the fish in! They’re brightly colored and detailed enough that they look quite real from afar. Comes with a remote control (2 AAA batteries needed, not included) and a variety of light settings! Motor has a hum to it but if it bothers you, I’ve found that putting a cloth or rug underneath dampens the noise!��

Auto shuts off after 8hrs, super nice feature, I typically run it from the time I go to bed until I wake up, and use it as a very BIG nightlight lol.��
Really adds a cool ambience to a room at night, what can I say!
*whatever you read online, do NOT put soap in this. I added just a drop and it became a foamy mess, it’s just not needed! The bubbles from the motor at the bottom are quite sufficient!��

Aside from that, the only maintenance is just replacing the water every few months (2-3 is good!) and wiping down the tube (it’s plastic so you don’t have to worry about it breaking!) if it gets dusty. I’ve had it for this whole year and it’s not molded or broken on me!

Amazing purchase for kids. Or adults, I’m 22 lol.
